Kare kare is amazing! The place is quiet and comfortable. The staff were nice to us. Tapa tocino is okay, kaldereta was good. Pero yung kare kare talaga, amazing!!

This is a small place tucked near the very end of the SM Annex ground floor near a clinic. Small but mighty. I was very happy with my chopsuey -- crispy veggies, tasty dish. And, of course, it serves a fab version of white/creamy halo-halo (you know, like Razon's and just as good). I ate too much and was like waddling out the door.

Their Kare Kare is delicious. Just make sure to ask for additional bagoong. Staff is very efficient. Unfortunately, they always run out of fried lumpia. I eat here when Im in the mood for home cooking. Very affordable. Will go back for sure.

I've tried their pork spareribs, kare-kare, palabok, and halo-halo.Pork Spareribs is good and tasty, I just hope that the serving is bigger.Kare-kare isn't bad and just like the spareribs, the serving is too small.Palabok is okay, but I like the Red Ribbon better.Halo-halo is the BEST! It does not have lots of halo but the ice and the milk is just wonderful.

Can you feel the heat? Because I can friggin can!!! During these times, I just want to lay in bed and relish in the coldness of my AC. Or head somewhere cold and eat a yummy cold treat. And what’s perfect for a hot day? Halo Halo! 😛. Just this Saturday (oh yes, this is a very fresh post and not a late one 😉 ), Teresita’s held it’s 2nd Grand Halo Halo Day where a lot of people lined up for free, yes, FREE serving of Halo Halo. Talk about being generous and cooling everyone off with this sweet treat. Just check out the line above. The place was quite crowded as people trickled in. I got to try their Halo Halo too but before that, I got to fill my hungry tummy first. 😛
