Tea*Rock was always a place of interest with me whenever I passed it on the road because of the exterior aesthetics. I decided to give this place a shot, knowing that they offer wifi to work in as well. Stepping in, the first impressions was one of the oddest ones I have ever had with any establishment. The interior is a bit outdated with dirty-white walls and gloomy lighting. It could definitely use a paint job and changing the lighting would significantly improve the ambience of the place. However, at the same time, the high ceiling design, the brick wall area and the side area of colorful furnitures is what gives a complicated impression. Some areas are nice while others are outdated! Either way, the place is well kept in its cleanliness, even in the restroom!I was surprised to see that it was not a typical milktea place! Apparently they served legit Asian dishes at reasonable prices. At this time however, I just ordered their Oolong Milk Tea. I will make sure to return to try their food. Their Oolong milktea is as good as milktea goes I guess. It had a clean taste of tea, obviously! I had mine at 70% sugar, it was not sweet and not bitter so if you are not looking for a sweet drink, this is fine. However, ultimately for the price, I can’t complain! The wifi wasn’t really working when I was there initially. I couldn’t even connect with the wifi at first, but it was eventually resolved so yay! Either way, it was nice since there were not many people so it was pretty relaxed. The staff was also relaxed. A bit slow but without the need to rush, it’s not such a big problem I guess. Food: 4/5 (Beverage)Interior: 3.5/5Service: 4/5Value for Money: 4.5/5Main Pros:- Affordable- Wifi- High Ceiling- Their Restroom has nice tiles 😅😅😅

My order was cheese and sea salt wintermelon with nata sinker at 100% sugar. I like their cheese sea salt but the wintermelon did not jive well with the recommended sinker of nata. (I also forgot that their ice cubes were of the same size as the nata. I ended up crunching both together! Will not do that again! Lol).I liked partner’s order of Taro Sasa too. It was rich and creamy. Not sure if its supposed to be that way. But it was good. The place was a bit crowded as usual but crew were always nice and friendly despite the pressure.Sending my best regards

I ordered their Cheese and Sea Salt Matcha which is really heavenly. Not too sweet, not too cloying... Just the right creaminess and blend of salty cheese and sweet-earthy flavor of Matcha. My friend tried their mixed balls noodles and the soup was really yummy! The noodle was okay and the seafood balls are nothing special, though.WiFi needs to improve but I will definitely go back for the cheese and sea salt matcha.

I discovered this place way back in 2011 and it's still one of my favorite spots in Manila. I really like their noodles, especially the beef and seafood ones. The flavors are nice, but what I really come back for here is their milk tea. I honestly think it's underrated, but it's so good!
