I was looking for a great ramen restaurant to satisfy my nephews’ craving at past 9pm and good thing i saw this at website.PLACE- very accessible since it is near the footbridge connecting Trinoma- spacious enough to accommodate customersFOOD- The food was great. We ordered Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen (the standard ramen set), Karamen Ramen (deadliest spicy flavor- though still tolerable) and Ninniku Ramen (tasty and a bit spicy- my order)- We also had Rocky Roll Maki (minced kani) and Gyoza which was very delicious! - Everything was good and i would recommend this place if you’re looking for a reasonable price with quality taste.SERVICE- i would have rated the store a 5-star however, the waiters were not very accommodating when i asked for their opinion on what to order, they just answered me as simple as “Hindi ko po alam” - - no further explanation.- i understand that they have not personally tried all their products but they could have at least tried suggesting or have given me a piece of recommendation. Moreover, i asked two waiters and that was the answer that i received. OVERALL- I was very tired and hungry that time so i was very disappointed with the service but thank God that we satisfied my pamangkins craving and the food was very great.

食べ物が美味しいです。I ordered chicken momoyaki and it was really good. The ambiance is also peaceful. For the lady though on the counter, I hope you do not keep bowing even though there isn't anybody in front, I'm bothered but I know you are just doing your job. I'll try to go back next time to try the ramen. 😊😊😊

I'm gonna say ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to give it a boost. Taisho Ramen is one of the most underrated restos at The Block. They have quality food at affordable prices and their staff are very accommodating. I ordered Chamen Ramen and Rocky Roll which are both awesome and plentiful (one bowl of ramen is good for two pax already). Had lunch here past 2 pm and inabutan ko yung staff and cooks having a casual chat with their store manager at the rear corner of the resto. You can say they have a good relationship and team work. They're all laughing and noting on some details on how to improve the taste of their yakisoba and ramen lol! It's very nice to see these things. No wonder these people render great service and appetising food! 👏👏👏

Awesome! Was able to bring my shihtzu pup inside the resto, thank youuu for being extra nice! Food is great and the Ramen is good for two or even more if you order other dishes! I love the Kani salad, the dressing is wasabi infused! The staff is nice even if I used the 50% eatigo discount. Thank youuuu!

Dined here with my father due to the craving for ramen and I've been eyeing this Nippon resto for months. Upon arriving they took us to a table where a set of customer had just finished and quickly cleaned the place for us to seat and immediately got our orders. We ordered two chashu ramen, a tofu salad and the refillable green tea. It took a while for our order to be served because it's a weekend night and the resto was packed. The food and price were both considerable and fine, the ramen was bland and a bit oily for me but was enough to satisfy my cravings. The tofu salad was good, but not enough ingredients. They had complete condiments in the table (soy sauce, sesame seeds, salt, garlic) and they got me at their refillable green tea. The crew were attentive and friendly enough. Over-all it was a tummy fulfilling experience, but not sure if I would come back again.

Rating it 2 because the food is not that bad. But if it was based solely on customer experience I would give it a 1. Sharing with you an experience I had when I booked using an app which provides discount on food items:When we got there, we were advised we can only avail of discounted order within 15 minutes to which we obliged even though it is the first time we encountered such a thing in our reservation using the app that offers discounts (usually we were allowed to order within an hour). When we got to ordering, a lot of our order particularly the deserts are not available. It was a downer but we were fine with it. After ordering, we waited for the usual 15 to 20 minutes before our order arrived. We were delighted to find that the ramen tasted better than expected. We kept on waiting for our other orders to arrive until I noticed the other tables got the same order as ours but we haven't received our other order yet. I called the waiter and was advised that our order (3 different types of maki) was not taken. I was very clear upon order that we wanted those 3 makis. The thing is, the waiter that took our order upon repeating our order missed the desert which I pointed out causing me to overlook that the makis were not included as well. So I politely told them that we would like those makis. We were advised that we would be charged the full price since the order isn't within the first 15 mins of our reservation. I don't have anything against the waiter and I do understand that people sometimes make mistakes. But what I cannot understand is why they cannot give the makis when they are the ones at fault. Moreover, technically we did order the makis within the first 15mins of our reservation. Even the waiter admitted to this mistake. I called the waiters several times but they were hesitant to move forward with my request. I saw them discussing with their manager but even the manager did not acknowledge us. After about 15 to 20 mins of waiting, I called on the manager to raise our concern. I was taken aback by her attitude towards us. Not only was she not apologetic of their mishap, she also acted arrogant and rude towards us. Never in my life have I experienced such rude attitude from a manager at a restaurant. To be honest, I was about to let the issue slide but her attitude towards us made me stand my ground. Pissed off, she told me that we could get 1 of the 3 makis we ordered at a discounted price. The rest if we still want to order will be paid in full. She says that's meeting half way. Excuse me, that is NOT meeting halfway. I cannot comprehend why she cannot give the discount which is rightfully ours. To begin with, they are at fault for not training their waiters to be well equipped in taking orders yet we as the customer have to suffer from bad attitude and bad customer service. I tried to reason out with her and I could see she was really getting irritated then she barked "WHAT IS YOUR DEMAND?" To which I replied: "to get our 3 makis at a discounted price". And she said "No, it has to be paid in full" to which I retorted "I said at a discounted price" afterwhich she walked away without acknowledging me. It was trully an ugly encounter. After a few minutes, the waiter who took our order told us to wait for 20mins for our order to which I agreed. In the end we got our order at a discounted price but the discount is not worth the experience. I will never get back there again even if the meal is free. Very bad management and customer service.

Ramen never fail to make my eyes sparkle. Just thinking about twirling noodles and slurping its rich yet delicate broth brings so much happy vibes. And last Tuesday, R and I visited an off the radar ramen joint in SM North Edsa. This ramen and teppanyaki restaurant has been around for a few years now at SM Light Mall. It recently moved to SM North adding more Japanese selection to the bustling mall.

I love their creamy white soup in my ramen and I think they’ve perfected cooking the egg! Also tried their gyoza. Nothing special but you might want to try this if you have the time.

Quick service. Clean place. Nice ambiance. Friendly qnd helpful servers. We had their ramen and gyoza with orange juice. There's a lot in their menu but we just had to try their ramen first. Their ramen is a solid 4.3/5 for me.

The ramen broth was okay, not too thick though, but tasty. Ordered it together with gyoza, then again I'd rather not to as it was only so-so. Ambience was so-so too. Staff was great though.
