If you like gelato that is homemade, fresh, and affordable, then you better head over to Sub Zero Gelato, a pop up store located inside Adventure Food Park along Aurora Blvd near Gilmore Station. Sub Zero's gelatos are freshly made daily and uses high quality ingredients. For P85, it is affordable because it is not your ordinary gelato, despite its bigger scoop than its competitors. Each giant scoop is topped with either a chunk of cake or other toppings, all which are home made as well. For this visit, we tried everything they have, good thing we are a big group. We tried Ube Langka, Mocchacino, Matcha, Banoffee, Red Velvet, and Cheesecake. Two of my favorties are ube langka and cheesecake. The ube langka is to die for, especially if you are a fan of ube haleya. Imagine ube haleya made into gelato. Cheesecake, on the other hand, is topped with oreos and a banana chip truffle. The cheesecake is creamy and addicting. Their flavors often changes, so there are more reasons to visit them and you won't get tired trying flavors.

No matter what the weather is, I love eating ice cream in all its forms as it is my favorite dessert! I'm glad to have been invited to Sub Zero Gelato, along with my fellow Food Crawlers! We sampled six flavors, but my favorites would be the red velvet yogurt, banoffee, and New York Cheesecake (this was is simply DIVINE)! Each cup costs only P85, and that's such a steal in my book, especially since aside from the actual gelato, each serving is also topped with other sweet treats like cookies, chocolate balls, etc. I'm excited to try their future flavors!!!

A heaven in a cup for dessert lovers.  Subzero serves high quality home-made gelato for less than a 100 bucks! And on top of every cup of their gelato, you get cake toppings or truffles to further fill your tongue with sweet goodness and textural senses. We sampled 6 of their flavors, each has its own uniqueness from its Red Velvet gelato, Banoffee, Green Matcha, Mochaccino, Cheese Cake and Ube Lanka.Their Cheese cake, Ube Lanka and Banoffee are some of the flavors that really stand out for me that will make me comeback for more. You will really taste the real ingredients of gelato.  The Cheese Cake gelato tasted like you are eating a cheese cake, while the Ube lanka really tasted like Ube halaya you get from Baguio.  Banoffee gelato has the balance taste of Banana, Coffee/Choco and Caramel.  Looking forward to visit them soon to try out other concoctions that they will come up with as they do regularly change their flavors in their menu.

Sub-Zero Gelato is a low-key gelato shop that offers a delicious selection of  hand-crafted gelato. Everything from the texture to the flavours are on point. They offer both fruity and sweeter flavours. What's great is that their flavours are super fun and unique. The texture of the gelato is smooth, rich, and creamy. Additionally, what I really appreciate is how the gelatos were made. According to the owners, they make their Gelatos in small batches by hand, sourcing only the best ingredients in the country. Also, the staff are friendly and have no problem letting you try multiple samples. While their flavours are always rotating, here are some flavours I tried and highly recommend:  1. Cheesecake - This flavour combines two of my favourite things and it gives you the perfect marriage of sweet and tart.2. Banoffee - I'm not normally a fan of Bananas, but this one is an exception 3. Ube Langka - Features tropical flavours like Jackfruit that results in a perfect balance of fruity and sweet. A perfect summer flavour!  Honestly, you can't go wrong here. The next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely be coming back.

Sub Zero Gelato is a new popup gelateria in the new foodpark along Aurora Boulevard, just across St. Paul. The location and the frontage can be easily missed if you're not aware of your surrounding. This small gelateria serves BIG flavors, like the classics. They have 6 flavors to choose from, according to the young owners, it would change from time to time as they create and concoct new and exciting flavors. My personal fave is the UBE LANGKA. Ofcourse, its UBE, no one can go wrong with that. Creamy ube based gelato that is folded with lots of fresh langka. It reminded me of my usual halohalo that is topped with ube ice cream and langka strips.Cheesecake is unforgettable. Creamy, cheesy, and tasted like the cake. It is great to have that same profile as the cake on a gelato. Some of the flavors were red velvet, mocchacino, and i forgot some of them, but, personally, i prefer the 2 classics. SubZero is just a small startup. I can't compare them to the bigger players. They just need to fix some minor improvements in their consistency of the base. It's worth a try:) P.S. I'll be back in a few months to try their gelato again and hopefully new flavors also.#TheFoodCrawlers #OngsFoodprints #TheLostDiego
