Starr's is awesome!When they first started, I was really happy that we now have milkshake places. It's good that they didn't start out as a fad either. Their location in katipunan is pretty good too cause there are a lot of schools around.I like Starr's because I actually like all the flavors I've tried! Hahahaha! My favorite would be a create your own one: Vanilla with Reese's Buttercups and Brownies. They have a create your own for those who are more adventurous. For those who don't really want to think about what to get, they have their own list of concoctions to choose from. This specific Starr's branch is pretty small. They only have a few seats available. There do have a few more tables outside. I personally don't like staying outside since a lot of people tend to stand around and smoke. Starr's Famous Shakes is a very good choice for an affordable but absolutely satisfying treat. 😊

Milkshakes were okay, not too bad and not too good. I tried their Brownie Chunks milkshake which was so-so. I would love to try their classic banana milkshake next time.👌🏻 #lorjanelamons

We ordered Oreo Oreo Pancake and Starr's is really the place for milkshakes.Oreo Oreo Pancake had lots of Oreo and the milkshake is creamy and tasty. There are many flavors to choose from and you can also add toppings.

Visited this a few times with my friends during my college review days 2 summers ago.Not really a fan of milkshakes with different toppings so I got a VIP mixberry & banna milkshake (Booring, I know) and tried a few of their munchies! Super corn dogs and basket fries is a must try! :) Really good. better than I expected it to be :)

I just had their famous shake. I ordered cookies and cream with choco mint bark and silvered toasted almonds. It was a good combination. The place is small, it can only accommodate around 10 people inside.

Tried their oreo oreo pancake shake a while ago and tbh I'm not that impressed given that I'm a sweet tooth, and an oreo fanatic to add. The wicked oreo type of topping itself was okay but the cookies and cream based shake was plain and lacking the oreo flavor that it should have. Whipped cream wasn't available at that time sadly, it could have added flavor and thickness. Would still come back to try other flavors still.

Instagramable! Aside from it's very cozy ambiance which gives you a very millenial vibe they also serve thick and incredibly good milkshakes. Good for de-stressing after exams and deadlines. Personal favorite is Strawberry Cheesecake!!

On Milkshakes and the reward system of the brain.Don't you find it odd that eating ice brings comfort on a gloomy day.  Blame it on the dairy,  milk has a calming effect.The calming effect if milk can be explained two ways:1.  Milk is high in antioxidants, vitamins B2 and B12, as well as protein and calcium. The protein lactium has a calming effect by lowering blood pressure, while the potassium in milk can help relieve muscle spasms triggered by feeling tense.2.  Milk is the primary form of sustenance of infants.  A baby calms down when fed by their mothers.  Evolutionary Psychology states that these characteristics evolved and is part of human behavior of the modern man.  Functional products of natural selection.Okay,  enough of the science lesson.  Let's start my review,  shall we? Starrs Famous Milkshakes is one of the joints i wanted to visit in the Katips area.  It took us a while to find the place,  we were bot direction impaired,  after a couple of turns,  i saw stars!The joint is small.  I think they only have three tables inside.  The counter is the first thing you'll see upon entry.  Dem jars full of treats is a sight to behold. ¶ Vanilla Blue Heaven.   This is a steal at php 95.  Blue and vanilla make a mean combination,  not overly sweet and smooth like liquid velvet.  I dunno if they add crayons or ink to make it blue but i don't care,  i love dem blue milkshakes.

Their shakes are made from heaven! I'm not sure if I can actually live without Starr's milkshakes. I am willing to taste every single flavor. Although they have limited snacks and appetizers, I think their milkshakes deserve their price. Really my go-to milkshake place with friends!
