Situated in white plains, this humble bbq resto is a go to place for people who love grilled food with beer. I like the ribs with mexican rice. Soft and tender. Savory and tasty. A must try. Plus, drinks and dishes are not that expensive. A good deal.

Nestled along #42 Katipunan Avenue, White plains, Quezon City is a Barbecue joint known as Smokin Cues. This restaurant boasts of a selection of barbecues from around the world (korean, filipino, american etc...).They have adequate parking for 5-6 cars and is manned by an attendant. The interiors are well lighted with good airconditioning. They have an al fresco setup for those who like to smoke. There are selected areas with sockets for charging your drained gadgets. Wifi is free too. The staff is alert and well trained. They are able to suggest which among the menu is best to try first. Service time is average, taking about 15-30 minutes before getting served. Prices seems reasonable but not budget friendly. I ordered their American Heavenly Set which had a Kansas city style Pork belly in Whiskey sauce, Twister fries, Mexican rice,  Caramel sundae, and a pitcher of Cucumber lemonade. All these for the amzing price of 500+ pesos... definitely for sharing!!!The Kansas city style Pork belly was really good. The meat fell of the bones easily and the smokiness was there. Apparently they do char their meat sufficiently to make the smokiness prominent. The meat was tender and the barbecue sauce complimented it well. The Twister fries isn't something unique or amazing so lets skip that. The Mexican rice was served hot and the seasoning was spot on. I think this would go well with any kind of barbecue. The Cucumber lemonade was a refreshing twist to the usual lemonade drink. It washes the smokey barbecue taste off my palate very well. The Caramel Sundae with Caramel bits and Graham was a good ending to my meal. The caramel bits gave a crunchy contrast to the smooth vanilla ice cream that was delicately swimming in caramel sauce. This place comes highly recommended...#docpapabear#bearprintsphotography

The place is nice, it has a beautiful ambiance, and easily accessible. With respect to the food, it is a little bit pricey. Nevertheless, the food is delicious especially the american platter if you really love grilled food. I strongly recommend Smokin' Cues, definitely a must try.

Generally, food here is good but quite pricey considering their serving size. It is a  nice place to chill out after a day's work or to while away time waiting for traffic to thin out. Staff are courteous and attentive. With a clean restroom and an ample parking space as well.

If you love barbecued dishes, Smokin' Cues is the place to go. You will be satisfied with the selections. As the slogan says, they serve "Barbecues from around the globe."Since they cook by the order, be prepared to wait for about 30 minutes. Service was also slow because there was only one waitress.First came the roasted corn kernels, which has a salty, BBQ powder. The American pork belly is absolutely juicy and flavorful, there's hardly a need to add the steak sauce. However, there were burnt portions, and the Mexican rice had a "nakakaumay" buttery taste. The Morrocan Dory is cooked to a golden color, making it crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Lastly, I'd say the Persian kebab is nothing out of the ordinary. And with only 3 pieces an order, it's not worth the price.

Place is cozy with simple offerings. First time I came here, I had the American beef short plate. Taste was good but it was too charred for my liking. It was carcinogen heaven. The corn with Parmesan is tad bit salty but if you put it on your rice, the taste becomes milder. Belly Slab was soft and portion good for two. Recommend you order this. My next visit I tried chicken yakitori. I sort of get it why this is their specialty dish. Chicken was soft and not dry and very flavorful. It comes it 4 sticks and a rice. Not bad either.

About less than 5 minutes away from my residence. It looks quaint with wooden tables and a log cabin look on its walls. I like the main door. The american barbecue taste ok with a hint of cumin. The filipino barbecue is average and about a third is fat. The kani salad serving is too small as well as the moroccan pan fried dory.

I have this OBSESSION with barbecues! I love just watchin' the food show "Man Fire Food"! Good thing barbecues are smokin' at Smokin' Cues.Relaxing place to settle in on a Saturday afternoon. Feels like your in a log cabin in the middle of the (White) plains or (Green) meadows. Parking is easy unless on nights especially Sundays.Tried the American Pork Belly (heavenly set for 2 with iced tea, 1 serving Mexican rice, twister fries and 2 sundaes for Php585). The belly was tender with the right amount of char. Serving is only good for 1 me or 2 not-so hungry lads. Barbecue sauce sa a tad too sweet for my taste but just enough spice to tickle your taste buds.Wifi - checkParking - limited, freeAmbience - cool

So first off, cozy interior design combined with an amazing playlist (yes people, good music influences the mood when you eat)Had the american and the filipino bbq and it was both amazing. Filipino bbq taste and tenderness are nice so basically it's your moms bbq on steroids. American bbq has interesting flavors that reminded me of southern cooking. Rootbeer float is nice but the quantity is not that much. Same goes for their sides, a bit expensive for the serving size. But overall an enjoyable experience. Good food, good music and good service
