The food was okay but damn, what a highway robbery. 80 pesos for the bacon add-on and it doesn't even look like you're getting a whole slice's worth of chopped bacon.

The food is delicious, place is okay and the waiters are also nice. However, when I ordered a to-go meal, while I was waiting.. I saw a small cockroach camouflaged on the table. Almost near the set of plates and utensils. The waiter saw it, and killed. Right in front of me! The waiter apologized. I just kept my cool. But I was like, "buti nalang take out order ko."

design, cook and garnish your own pancake is a great idea for a breakfast-all day type of resto. It's actually a challenging experience for me as creativity is the last thinnlg on my mind when i just woke and the caffeine from their Cappuccino has not yet done its magic.*they have different flavors of pancake batter. :)

Unleash the foodbeast in you with DIY pancakes! Kids love this place. I honestly believe that they have better pancakes than IHOP. It's cheaper too. I come here for their eggs benedict. Choose between their bacon eggs benedict or chicken tocino benedict. Forget their bland salmon benedict. Coming here at 7am may have its drawbacks. I came in on a Saturday morning and they only had 1 server and 1 cashier.

First experienced their food at their branch at SM North Edsa, then over at SM Jazz Mall then at Libis. Their main attraction is their 'make your own pancakes' they have this rectangular shaped teflon in the middle of the table and customers could enjoy their pancakes fresh from the pan. Batter and toppings can also be customized. I also like their meals especially their breakfasts. I often order their tapsilog while my siblings would go for the bangus and chicken. Quite pricey for breakfast food but rest assured that you are paying for good quality food. The serving is enough for sharing so don't forget to invite friends and family when you go and try Slappy Cakes!

Celebrated my birthday with my younger siblings at Slappy Cakes. We ordered a tub of Chocolate Pancakes with add-ons of bananas and chocolate chips. We enjoyed making our own pancakes at the table, and we loved eating them too. For other dishes, we had the Southern Fried Chicken Tenders, served with potatoes on the side and Kids' Spaghetti. Prices are a bit on the high side but if you want to have the kids experience pancake-making on a kid-friendly place, try this resto.

We always eat breakfast here, almost every morning. Then we have to call them for delivery.. I have to call them like 6 times and no one's answering the phone, and when someone finally answered, I told her I want to order for delivery, then after 3 seconds she hanged up on me.. ! I called them again and a different voice said hello . I asked them why does it took a long time for them to answer the phone and when someone answered she hanged up on me. Then I proceeded and say I want to order and have it delivered to our unit in Eastwood city.. He then said that they won't ko be able to deliver because there's only few staffs in the store! Goodness! Really? Whenever we are in that store, the staffs in front aren't doing shit! They're always just chitchatting with each other! Where's the justice in costumer service! You just ruin my day!-we just ordered today for delivery*hopefully next time , they'll finally deliver our food nice and hot.

I tried their tapa, and it's just an ordinary tapa. There's even a lot cheaper tapa I've tried w/c has a better taste. And the service crew aren't that accomodating at that time, but when I went back for 2x they've been a lot nicer.

There's honestly nothing so special aside from the experience of making your own pancakes. They provide a lot of choices but they all taste just okay.

Slappy cakes is the perfect restaurant for kids since it involves an activity wherein they can cook their pancakes themselves. The "cook your own pancake" will cost around P400. This is a bit steep for just pancakes. But what you pay for is the experience for your kids. You can shape your pancakes anyway you want and there are extras that you can add on (for extra costs too, of course). We also ordered the tapa meal which is surprisingly good.
