The stir fried beans with ground pork and the shrimp fried rice were really good. The fried chicken not so much. The dough on the steamed pork bun served to us had a wet and unpleasant texture to it.

Xiao long bao - a bit starchy and a little dry, i've had betterHa kaw - good, a bit pricey for 4 piecesFresh tofu - this one i like best, melts in your mouth, i wish they'd put a better sauce to compliment the tofuShrimp wonton noodle soup - something that i would order again, the broth tastes amazingService was good, we didn't have to wait for our food too long.

First review for 2016!!!yaaaaaaay!!!KP took echo (his car) to the service center for his maintenance check- up and while waiting, we had lunch here at Shi Lin in Eastwood. The place is small but they have more seating capacity upstairs. We ordered the Xiao Long Bao, Shrimp Siomai, Congee, Salt and Pepper Squid and Fried Rice with Shredded Pork and Egg plus a Crimsonberry for KP's drink. The XLB and Siomai was good, I liked it. Congee was also good, I requested to separate the Century egg and other toppings cause I'm sure I won't be able to finish the whole serving. The Salt and Pepper Squid was also a good match with the Fried Rice. KP didn't like the Crimsonberry Iced Tea.Everything we ate was okay, but not as good as other Chinese resto in Banawe or elsewhere. My main concern when we ate here was the service. It took us a few times to remind the servers to follow up our orders and for our bill.

The food was undeniably great we have ordered xiao long bao, shrimp pork wonton ,fried rice with shrimp, pork and egg, spicy jellyfish (acquired taste but loved it)salt and pepper crispy chicken with chilli.  The biggest disappointment was the service.  They serve the food but did not provide us with plates.  No house tea served unlike from other branches.  There were no other customers when we got there but I don't know why they did not serve us well.  There was another group from work who also went there and they said that there was a house tea you have to ASK for it not being offered right away. Oh well.... now I know  but will definitely not go back... I was able to  get better service in Yang Chow!!!! too bad that they close their branch here in Eastwood although they have another branch in Shopwise.

I like the Shrimp and Pork Shaomai! It's like Xiao Long Bao - it has a hot soup inside. And I am bit disappointed with the Spicy Spareribs - the price is not too expensive and you only get a plate of bread spareribs (without rice) and there is nothing special with this dish. And also an overpriced century egg - I only ordered it that time because I'm craving for it. I'm not going back here.
