I shoulb be rating this 5 but will give it a 4 four because of the service which was generally slow even if the place was already winding down. We went around 8pm. Upon checking the menu, we were really surprised with the thickness of it and the variety of food they're serving. We tried their Pork Katsu, Smoked Salmon and Tuna Roll and their Seoul Seafood Pizza. The pizza is the reason why I'm giving it 4 despite the service. Will definitely be back for more.

Bought as take out. Ordered Gyoza, Salmon Sashimi, and Tendon. I live right across the restaurant within Eastwood as well. I didn’t check the order anymore because they’re usually reliable. When I got home, I noticed that my whole order was wet. The sashimi had a bag of ice under it (to keep it fresh, not complaining about this part), but all the other orders got wet too. The gyoza became soggy. I also noticed that they had forgotten to put wasabi with my sashimi. The restaurant itself also doesn’t have a CR. The staff was okay, but not really helpful when it came to opening the door (I was carrying a one year old by myself). Not all that happy with this visit and with the food. I literally walked less than 5 minutes away from my home. That’s not enough time for my food to be compromised.

I don’t go to Eastwood, but today I happen to go here for a whole different reason. On my way out the mall, I spotted this place. The lady that approached me was so nice and very engaging. She showed me the menu on ramen and said there was one ramen that was not on the menu. Something new and award winning, called the Truffle Ramen. So I bit the bullet and ordered it. No wonder this is a true winner. This dish will certainly flirt and play with your palette. Very flavorful. I will come back just to have this again.

The extensiveness of the menu should have been an early herald to the quality of food here. See, there is a big risk in deciding that you want to be the go-to joint for ANY JAPANESE DISH, and this restaurant made that failed attempt. For what it got right on the Japanese vibes and crew courtesy, it miserably lacked in the quality of almost anything you consume. The service water tasted like FREAKIN’ POOL WATER. The Ramen I ordered was one of the worst I ever had, comparable to the quality of Ramen in Teriyaki Boy, with the steep price making the overall experience worse.SMH

So far the filthiest place we have ever been. The smell of the place is something you wont believe is happening in a place that looks cozy tucked in Eastwood mall. The food is mediocre. We ordered the sizzling beef and sizzling chicken but when it was served to us, its cold, and looked like left over sinanggag from the morning. The grape shake taste like sugar blended with ice, the tempura has the stench of not fresh shrimp. The unagi and soft shell crab roll is okay.

The advertisement for here references Tsukiji. There is nothing Tsukiji about this. The sashimi is low quality, frozen farmed fish. The sushi is mediocre. The crab is fake. The Uni was decomposing. Unsure if quality sushi exists in Manila but this isn't it. Staff were attentive and polite so two stars. Otherwise I'd give one for false advertising.

We ended up eating here because we’re craving for Japanese food and it’s our first time to eat at Eastwood. Place has a good ambiance. Servers are polite and enthusiastic. We ordered:Miso soup- I’ve tasted a lot of miso soup and this is the worst. Tofu is hard. I thinks it’s not a Japanese tofu. Seaweed is too much. California roll-It was ok. It was refreshing to my palate because of the sweet mango.Calamari-really disappointing. Maliban sa pagiging tough and rubbery squid na small size lang ang ginamit.Tonkatsu & Torikatsu- meat is tasteless and coating tastes super used oil. You can even see it in the panko. Panko is dark and soggy because of the oil. Condiments of the tonkatsu doesn’t blend well with the meat. They also use American mustard so yeah. Value for money- 2/5Ambiance-4/5Service-4/5Food-2/5

well to start their food was good. we ordered chasyu(?) ramen, spicy tuna salad and mixed sashimi which were all great except that the broth for the ramen was not hot enough to cook the noodles well and when we asked for a hotter broth the waiter advised us that there would be a charge which i do not think is right since we wanted a hot broth for the ramen too sad though but it was still a good experience

Cleanliness- 5/5Value for money- 2/5Friendliness of staff- 5/5Service- 3/5Quality of food- 2/5Ramen tastes like ordinary ramen, too expensive for its taste. We're a bit disappointed really. Katsu is okay (4.2/5). Dragon roll the drizzling sauce is a bit salty. Most of the seafood on the menu is not available

First time to try Sansaime..We ordered Crunchy Hollywood (228) - parang california maki ma salad but ang twist, fried and crunchy yung crab sticks. Very good sya. Recommend.Dynamite roll sashimi (298) - spicy salmon sya. Its nice. Masarap yung sauce na kasama nya.I want sana to order the Sandaime Grilled Mackerel (398) pero sold out na daw. We ate around 6pm and 2 tables pa lng kami. Not sure if sold out ba o out of stock lang. But either way, you need to improve your projection or your procurement. Anyway, we ordered the Tuna Belly Teriyaki (378) instead and yup its masarap din. So recommended. They have free tea pero parang chinese tea sya, not japanese tea. Chopsticks are brittle. Staff are ok. Place is ok but you might need to improve your air conditioning as well. The Iwata cooler is noisy which I can't hear the order taker clearly when talking.Sorry I have a lot of comments to improve. But the food is good, i just hope you improve more for the overall experience of your customers.Recommended for barkadas or family. Not a date place because of the experience. Price are average, some are ok some are pricy.
