Saw this resto via website and glady it has a promo at eatigo we book a 50% discount good for 4pax at 3pm. Drinks is not included in the discount. We ordered bagnet, baka ni kulas, bbq chicken, inasal na manok, pakbet, nilasing na hipon garlic rice drinks and brazo slice for dessert. Foods tasted good and service was superb. The down side is we check the menu in website when we pay the bills they had increase their price like the bagnet increase by 50pesos from 455pesos its 505pesos now. Worst is the brazo slice from 105pesos from website menu its 255pesos increase of 150pesos!!! No wonder they dont have much customer now. Worst it increase prices and they also collect service charge. Im a fair person im rating it 3star because food is good and service is good thats all. We'll be back if it still has 50% via eatigo. If not il think twice. All the food we ordered cost us 2k its already discounted 50% off. And its just me and my wife and 2 kids.

I’ve been to quite number of Filipino restaurant. Salu is one the few places that stood out for me. 1 ⭐️ for the place, the place is very nice. Clean, it has that Filipino-Western vibe but the Filipino theme is still intact with its decoration1 ⭐️ for the staff. Although when we went there we were the only eating so they were very attentive to us. One specific crew stood up, he was kind anc always smiling. I forgot his name but he was wearing braces. So Kudos to him for a job well done!1.5 ⭐️ for the food itself. The food was great, I was just taken aback that their rice serving is not proportioned. But over all the servings, plating, presenting is top notch!.5 ⭐️ for the price. It was good but I think it’s too expensive.Overall this is recommendable if you want a very nice Filipino restaurant but wary of their prices.

We ordered their famous karekare with lechon kawali. Not impressed. Nakulangan ako s creaminess ng peanut ng karekare. Price is too much tpos d ganun ksrap.Chicharon bulaklak has after taste n maangut angut. The pancit palabok is also not good. Hamak sarap pa ng pancit s jollibee. Not coming back. Nakaka disappoint. Akala ko mala victorinos or mesa ang lasa ng food.

It was my first visit during a Birthday celebration of a cousin. They used the second floor as an event place. Spacious for a couple of tables. It was kinda dark coz of the dark walls and Rustic Wood floor and interiors.Typical Filipino dishes were served. To me just so so.

I was overwhelmed when I had lunch when I dropped by in this lovely branch! The food was way beyond my expectations specially their binagoongang kare kare! Also love their ensalada, and laing. The service is good, ambiance is big, modern yet homey. Would love to celebrate gatherings here at this branch. They could accomodate a lot and they provided spacious parking space. Well done, Salu!

I would say all of the dishes tasted fine especially the binagoongang lechon kare kare. However for Filipino restaurant to stand out,I think it takes a lot more than what they already offer. They have unique dishes that we are not used to. and I wish I was able to try all of them but the table is too small to fit them all😂As for the taho cheesecake I wish they just used graham crumbs for the crust. But overall I enjoyed our dining experience😊

Since I’m (re)starting to avoid fastfood again, we tried salu for a change. We ordered their best-selling Lechon Kare-Kare/or bagnet (I forgot), rice for sharing, and an unli cucumber tea. We always passed by at Salu but didn’t bother to try it out... well I guess we’ll dine here again. Someday, heheBecause, Price is a bit pricey. 300 and up to order their most delish dishes. But it’s worth it.Place is clean and people are approachable, they even gave us stickers of their resto haha cuz we asked, lolFood are served in a very Filipino manner, naka-kawali heheOverall, great food and awesome experience!

I went to Salu for the 2nd time. 1st time was with my friend last year where I thought food was fairly good but service was terrible. To be fair maybe because there was a battalion of customers who come from a funeral and reserved tables that day so all servers were busy & hardly paid attention to us. So today I thought I’d bring my mom bec we love Filipino food & I wanted to give the place anther chance. I was pleasantly surprised to see only a few customers today, just 2 families there. I was the third table with my mom. However it was the same experience all over again. There were at least 6 servers there but not a single one was paying attention. They were chatting or just pretended not to notice I was raising my hand to wave at them. The menu had a lot of options - in fact too many that you won’t know what their specialty is. They had several pages with dishes most of which I was unfamiliar with & the menu had no descriptions whatsoever. I had to ask 3 waiters to come help us understand what the dishes were and what ingredients they were and all 3 were just all too happy to accommodate us only for a few quick seconds and leave us as soon as they could. I tried the Okoy & was not pleased. I didnt see any shrimp in there although it did taste like shrimp or maybe the shrimps were so tiny the naked eye wouldn’t be able to see it too well. Chicharon bulaklak was delicious but don’t they all taste the same anyway? Binagoongang Bagnet na Kare Kare tasted ok but did not taste like kare kare. I asked my mom if she closed her eyes and tasted the sauce without looking at the dish, would she be able to say it was karekare. She and I had the same answer, it was a NO. We couldn’t even taste any peanut in there. Normally I would come back to try other dishes in the menu even if this 2nd try was not a success as far as the food was concerned, however, service matters to me & seeing that the place was almost empty except for my table and 2 other families there I would expect being waited on by servers who are attentive & prompt. The servers at Salu though, are inattentive and honestly lazy. So I am never going back and won’t recommend any friends to visit there either.

Salu Filipino Restaurant is a lovely place to return to again and again. It’s a nice spot for a laid-back family gathering or any celebration. Prices are on the menu are moderate given the value. The tastes of food are impressive, full of bold and enticing flavors all served on gorgeous plates for sharing. The relaxed but attentive service oversees the meal, leaving us diners with a novel experience that’s expensive but worth it.Every bite is a revelation here in Salu Restaurant where delectable regional Filipino dishes are different from the ordinary. We ordered some of their best offerings and were pretty satisfied with flavor-packed food. Their menu is not intimidating, as it’s filled with photos and creative descriptions. Note: Get ready for some modern twists; the adventurous will be rewarded. 😉If you’re nuts for comfort food and the combination of bagoong (shrimp paste), lechon, and kare-kare (peanut butter sauce) sounds enjoyable to you, then Binagoongang Lechon Kare-Kare (PhP 495) must be on your table. It’s a sinful, heavy dish with a rich mix of ingredients and divergent flavors that are truly Pinoy.Next, we had Sinigang na Isda sa Strawberry (PhP 545), one of the most eccentric entrees on Salu’s menu. The strawberries managed to balance the sourness of sinigang with its somewhat sweet, tangy, and refreshing contrast. It is a combo I couldn’t imagine liking before. Go get intrigued!Loaded with toppings, Salu’s Palabok (PhP 255) was okay but one I wasn’t too crazy about. I prefer greasier pancit palabok that’s smothered with thicker, golden shrimp sauce.Salu’s Pinas-Crispy Pata (PhP 850) was perfectly crunchy, matched with Poqui Poqui (veggies popular in the North of the Philippines). The salty exterior paired well with the tender and moist meat. It’s great with vinegar to cut through the fat just enough to make eating fried pork a dangerously simple task.Pinatuyong Manok sa Mangga (PhP 375 half, PhP 675 whole) is a kid-friendly option on the menu, and it’s very good. There’s nothing revolutionary about this chicken, but there also doesn’t need to be.For desserts, we tried one slice each of their Taho Cheese Cake and Yema Cake. Both were highly satisfying. The sweetness and firm-but-yielding texture were spot on, and you could certainly taste the quality of the ingredients used, which was a cut above the norm for sure. Order with confidence!
