They've nailed the ambience here, complete with a rusty old license plate and black-and-white vintage pictures in the bathroom. Not as much can be said about the food, however. The Lechonero Meal wasn't particularly flavorful, and you're better off not dipping your food in the sarsa. Even the atchara misses the mark. Not worth the trip, even considering the price.

Lechon cooked in different ways whether it be the usual, Paksiw, Sisig or Dinuguan, Sabroso Lechon offers all of those. We originally wanted to order the Lechonero Meal (P135) but the waitress told us that the skin of the lechon wasn't fresh anymore so we had to try something else. I ordered Lechon Dinuguan (P140) and my sister ordered Lechon Sisig w/ Egg (P130). The two meals were served with rice, iced tea & soup. They both tasted like the usual, I didn't really feel like I was eating Lechon. We also ordered Sabroso Talong (P88). I actually liked this because of the good combination of Eggplant omelet with salted egg & lechon bits. The place also offers specialty food. We tried the Dark Chocolate Bar with Siling Labuyo (P120). I know it sounds weird but the fusion of chocolate and the spicy labuyo was surprisingly delicious! I'm always into trying something weird but I wouldn't dare try the Adobo Chocolate. I wasn't really that satisfied with what we ordered because I wasn't able to taste the Sabroso Lechon. I'll still come back here though to try the Lechonero Meal. On the plus side, the prices were already very affordable for something to fill up your tummy.

The lechon was actually good but what they did to my order was really unprofessional. I ordered last Dec. 11 1 whole lechon worth 7800.00 to be picked-up on Dec. 22 at 5pm.On the said date of pick-up, we called around noontime and requested an earlier pick-up time of 4:30pm. The replied that it was already available. My driver went there and had to wait for more than 30 mins and they gave us the next smaller lechon with an 800.00 refund because it was smaller. All they said was sorry. What happened to our original order was no longer explained . End of transaction.

Sabroso Lechon is a great go to place to get your fill of our favorite lechon. Just try to be here during the day or luch than dinner coz they do ran out of lechon or worse, heaven forbid, lechon skin! The lechon sisig (Php185) was very good that even my nieces and nephews loved it. One not to be missed too is the Ensaladang Pako (Php88). Parking is a challenge in this stretch of Katipunan considering there's a lot of restaurants beside Sabroso Lechon.

My three friends and I agreed to include roasted pig in our menu for our group dinner and Sabroso's came up since they are the nearest to the south for delivery. A week before, we placed our order, then called again for confirmation 2 days before. It was already past our dinner time which was 6 PM and yet the order wasn't there yet. We called and the lady said the delivery guy was lost. 15 minutes after he finally arrived. Our order was a whole pig that was categorized under medium, which meant, it was 20 kilos in live weight. When we removed the cover it was a bit skinny and small for what we expected. I thought: "poor pig, it spent a lot of time dieting and going to the pig gym and evading its master that it became anorexic 😂! "Seriously, At least the skin was still oh so crispilicious! It was better than the popular lechon places we have in the city. We still think it was pricey for its size.

Limited seating capacity and limited parking, but superb food and service! Delicious succulent Bacolod lechon at its finest. They also have a very affordable set meal with 1/4 lechon, rice, soup + optional iced tea. Order their Mustasa leaves with Fermented shrimps, salted eggs, onions, minced tomatoes with shredded lechon--it goes well with any meal! I have nothing but good words for Sabroso. Just come early as the place gets packed during lunch and they could only accommodate a few people. But I am telling you it's worth the trip.

The best Lechon I've tried so far. It is very delicious and the skin is so crispy. After dining, we even ordered for take out and it was still good and crispy.

My first Sabroso Lechon was given to me as a gift. It was like love at first bite. So I asked where the store located and saw Blue Ridge branch (nearest to us). When we got there on a Sunday, they said that they ran out of lechon skin because of high demand so it was quite disappointing. But we still had our dinner there and enjoyed lechon meat and sauteed kangkong. It was still pleasurably delicious without the skin. I will definitely come back.

Woah the lechon here is amazing. Their lechon is not the fat-oozing usual open fire grilled pig. It's a native pig where the pork meat wont remind you of the calories and cholesterol intake. Their set menu comes with a portion of fruit, drink and lechon with rice. The price wont put a hole in your wallet. It's all worth it! And they deliver. They do! Just a day's notice and you're all set. For now, they don't charge extra for the delivery.

Awesome food. Yummy appetizers and a very affordable price. You can also order fresh meat cuts from them. The place is small but the ambiance is amazing. ?
