For dinner, we craved for ramen so we tried this out. We ordered the chashu ramen and it was really delicious. I'd rate this restaurant a higher rating but the staff wasn't accommodating enough. The service was fast though.

All the usual dining places in UP Town were full so we ventured outside and finally got to try Ryu. We were pleasantly surprised that we were satisfied with all the dishes. I had the katsucheese curry, which was the right amount of spice for me, but I would think the very spicy food lovers would be a little disappointed. The chicken, veggie and tempura donburi were all great as well. Their tempura was huge and juicy! All their veggies were cooked to perfection! Considering the look and ambience, it was a bit pricy but I would definitely consider eating here again if all the other restos are full.

I order a Chicken Teppan Don, since they said it’s one of their best donburi. When they said that “donburi” is roughly translated as “large helping of rice”, they have indeed a large helping of rice with a generous amount of onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and carrots. There’s not much chicken cuts though but overall, it tastes good and will make you so full. I was a little disappointed with their mango shake though since they don’t serve it in fresh mangoes but a syrup of some sort. Wasn't able to try their ramen and curry though, but will try to come back. :)

Best Ramen for me. Many variations to choose from and every dish is scrumptious. The staff are very nice and accomodating. This is a go-to Ramen house for me and my family. I find the price reasonable not only bec of the taste but also bec of the servings. Definitely a worth to come back to.

Tried their 3 ramens, gyoza and 3 iced teas promo. We anticipated a lot of people in the rush hour so we decided to go first thing in the morning. We were their first customers and were warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff is accommodating. I personally tried their tantanmen ramen which is quite spicy. I'm a fan of spicy food so this one is a hit for me. I also tried their miso ramen. They are generous in the ingredients. And the soup, one of the best I've tasted. The place is also beautiful. I love how they designed the interior. This is definitely a place to go for ramen!

Huge servings but not a stand out. I liked that they really meant spicy to spicy. We also ordered Katsudon and Katsu Curry and it seemed like there's no difference between the two. Well, you get what you pay for.

Tried out their shio ramen. It was good and flavorful tho nothing special compared to those offered by other well established ramen places like ippudo and santouka. The downfall of the ramen was the noodles which seemed to lack flavor and tasted really bland.

It was a wise choice that we ended up eating at RYU, after almost an hour of deciding where to eat, we're glad we finally ended up here. The food was exceptionally good! Although the place is quite small it feels homey and I like that it is not too crowded.

Ordered Classic Tantanmen and Chashu ramen!! Classic Tantanmen was rich and heavy, and slightly spicy (per request). Not for those who easily get umay-ed. Chashu was so good; two levels lower than Ippudo's. The pork slices were tender. Servings are relatively huge, good for one person (who will get full)Taste: 4/5Price: 4/5Ambiance: 5/5Service: 4.5/5

Went here twice already. For the first time, I tried their chicken curry and the serving size was generous. The large plate was really full that's why I wasn't able to finish it. Second time, I asked the waitress for a ramen that is not that spicy because I am not a fan of spicy food. Then she gave me a ramen that was still so spicy. Like wow spicy. And when I asked she said that it was really like that. :/  Plus the food here is expensive. Kind of not worth it since there are other ramen places that offers better ramen and is still cheaper than RYU.
