Craving for some sushi and ramen and this was the best place to try them. Visited for the first time and glad I was not dissapointed. Good thing, this branch allowed my dog inside 🐶 Service was fast and excellent. Servers were approachable. The food was great. We got the spicy tuna salad, sailboat roll, california roll and the ebi tempura ramen. Very satisfied with the taste and presentation. The place was neat and clean.

Truly, a good bowl of ramen starts at P300+. This place is a budget Japanese restaurant. I tried one of their bestsellers which is the Roku Chashu Miso. Their service is quick but when the ramen bowl was served all the ingredients were submerged underneath as seen in the photo. The "chashu" is a thinly sliced overcooked pork belly. Meanwhile, the egg is a poor attempt of the soft-boiled one. The soup is just good enough to get one pays for. I hope they fix those to live up to the ramen they attach to their name. I, however, enjoyed their sushi. It's just simple B&Y roll, but I like how all the ingredients are balanced making it a delish snack/appetizer/ side dish. Their service cold tea is a disappointment by the way as the tea is very diluted with water. But it doesn't affect the rating I gave.

Had a long overdue catch up with a good friend from college, R. I'm so glad that we picked up where we left off even if we haven't met for 2-3 years! Time flies by so quickly. 😟We were choosing between Roku (his pick) and 8Cuts (my pick, because I haven't tried the Soft Shell Crabwich yet!!! 😭), but can't seem to locate 8Cuts, so Roku it is. The restaurant was not packed when we got there at 7+ pm. Servers seem to be "busy", and a few minutes passed before we were handed the menu. I wanted to have ramen, since it was raining so hard when I got out from the office; also, it seems to be one of their best selling items. I got Roku Chashu Miso Ramen (one of their bestsellers), R got Katsudon, and we ordered Crazy Kani Roll for sharing. ✔ ROKU CHASU MISO (Php 259) - ⭐⭐⭐When the bowl was served to me, I initially thought that it had too little toppings. Upon inspecting, I saw not one, but THREE thick slices of their version of chashu! 😍 The meat was fairly tender, but can get a bit tough as the soup cools down. The meat was not as juicy nor as flavorful as most of the chashus I've tasted. The noodles were al dente, but it seems like they used packed noodles (texture was a bit spaghetti-like / pancit canton-like), so it did not work well for me. The tamago was okay. The soup was the weakest component for me. 😭 It was not bland, but it lacked the umami / flavorfulness that's usually present in a ramen's broth. After half a bowl of the soup, it was already too salty (but no flavor depth) for me! I did not finish the soup anymore. 😩 Price is cheaper than most ramen elsewhere. ✔ CRAZY KANI (Php 199 / 8 pieces) - ⭐⭐⭐R picked this, and it was relatively good. They taste refreshing and had good texture from the tempura bits. Slightly pricey for a kani roll, though. Each piece is bite sized, so you won't have a hard time eating each piece in one go. 👌 It lacked a bit in the flavor department, but that's because kani sticks aren't usually that flavorful. It wasn't that "crazy" afterall. Food for me was so-so, but that's maybe because I have pretty high standards when it comes to Japanese food. 😂 Food was ok for the price though, our total bill with 5% SC is a bit less than Php 700, pwede na for a quick Japanese food fix.The service was not that good, some servers seem grumpy, especially when we requested no ice for our service water. It took sooo long before we were given the water replacement. 😒 They also seem to have taken a liking to huddling in the counter area... I hope the service will be better the next time I drop by this place. 👌#EatDrinkSplurge

We ordered OMG roll, beef shoyu and chashu tonkotsu. Everything was just okay, the beef shoyu though is too flavorul that my bf did not finish it because of too much umay factor. In all fairness the service here is great. Will I go back? I've honestly paid for the same price in other restaurants that serve way better food.
