A classic. This is, without a doubt, the best tapa there is. Pair it with their signature suka and you will be inclined to have it as your sabaw. This is so good that you will be craving for another serving.

The tapsilog is so good, but I tried their kare-kare and I was disappointed. Walang dating, konti yung sahog, walang gaanong gulay. I'm clueless why the kare-kare is one of Rodic's' bestsellers.

Place is a bit dirty, and I guess the location is bad. No proper parking. The one inside UP campus is generally better - cleaner, and somehow the food tastes better there too.

Service and FoodService is quick, staff are nice and jolly, quality of tapsi is consistent. Go to this branch if you want takeout because it's not as busy as the other branches. There's no parking area in the vicinity, so be prepared to walk if bringing a car.AmbianceDidn't realize this branch had an air-conditioned 2nd floor! Always dined at the open-space first floor, which is convenient (food gets served right away and the waiters are always nearby for any additional orders/requests) but not ideal because the area is chaotic and air quality is not exactly the best, especially with the re-routing of PUJs and the relocation of tricycle terminals. Interiors are clean (enough) but the area outside is just too messy.

For 99 pesos, super sulit na ng Tapsilog nila. Will go back again soon!!! Plus madali lang mahanap. :) Mababait din staff nila. Soon we'll try other menus.

Rodic's Diner is one of those restaurant that offers great food on a very cheap price. I love the proportion of the rice and tapa. I also tried their beef caldereta and uugghhhh heaven.

Service was poor. Sabi ko malasado. Called the attention of the waiter, malasado daw yun pero lutong luto ant whites plus butas pa yung yolk na namuo na. Hindi na ako nakipag argue coz he seems unfriendly un staff. Serving nila kumonti na rin. Taas kayo price if you must pero dont ruin the quality...

If you are looking for a quick hot meal in the UP area that won’t break the bank, then Rodic’s is definitely something to consider. The tapsilog did not disappoint. I normally don’t like sweet tapa, but the sweet-sour combination of the meat and vinegar (which I used liberally) was a winning combination. The egg was a bit too small but not a deal-breaker. I thought the meal was worth its price of P95. The ambiance was airy and pleasant enough but the tables could be cleaner. The servers were no-nonsense, which is probably to be expected in a tapsilogan.

Rodics is a cultural fixture in Diliman ask any student of UP Diliman where you could get good tapsilog and they would always point you to Rodics. Its not that they serve uniquely good tapa, its that they serve tapa the good ole way, straight pan fried goodness that will give you a jolt of energy for a long day or replenish your depleted reseves after a long one. Its a hole in the wall place so expect a more spartan way of dining.

Rodic's Diner is one of the popular food joints in and around Maginhawa. They are famous especially for their tapsilog, in which, I tried today. For P95, you get a about 2 cups of fried rice topped with a generous serving of beef tapa and sunny-side egg. The tapa is savory, salty, and the best part of it, it's legit scraped off the pan. Together with the egg yolk and the fried rice mixed together, you get that salty sweet creamy textures and flavors. If you're looking for an all-day breakfast spot in Maginhawa or around UP, I would definitely recommend this place.
