Me and my family checked out Rock and Seoul here at the "new" website destination here at the block before watching Batman vs Superman which was amaze btw. So we ordered the Beef Bulgogi and Beef Teriyaki Bibimbap. The concept of the resto resembles Sizzling Pepper Steak or Pepper Lunch so you guys get what the food looks like. Both of the items we ordered was meh. I didn't like the taste of the cucumber with the bibimbap. or it just tastes a little bit funky already.

I gave rate 2.5 for this. I ordered 1 original Bibimbap. i was surprised it was huge! i was really happy to have plenty of it. but they didnt have  gochujang/ doenjang/ a fermented soybean paste. :( I was quite disappointed that they are not fully understand what's the original bibimbap. I asked waitress for the sauce for that. unfortunately, there's none. i asked how come? she said original bibimpab has no sauce. i was like.... okay? but can i order for the sauce. unfortunately there's none. I don't get it.... I feel disappointed and i asked her to take out instead. Because  I have gochujang at home so i can mix with it. I hope this company read this review pls. thank you.  Staff: friendly but they dont seem understand about korean food culturePrice:  unacceptable,,, but no sauce???  :(((

The restaurant's concept was actually cool and unique, mixing Korean cuisine with music & pop culture. I'm also a sucker for Bibimbap so we decided to dine here before catching a movie. The place itself was really nice. Service was acceptable but could be better. We liked that it was served on a hot plate and the serving size was actually huge. I wanted to try their original Bibimbap but decided against it because they serve it with ground beef, which I find unusual. I ordered the Bulgogi Bibimbap instead. And it was, well, disappointing. It may be one of the worst Bibimbap I've ever tried. It just tasted wrong. I think individually, the components of the dish maybe okay. But the sauce tastes like ketchup. Seriously - there's nothing Korean about it. So of course it ruined everything on the plate. I still finished it though, because I hate wasting food. But I'm never going back here again.

When we had a meeting at SM North Edsa I searched for restaurants where we can eat. I found this place and the menu looks promising. Since I really love korean food I thought I should give it a try. I ordered Beef Teriyaki (without the spicy sauce) and my bf got 2 pc Chicken with rice. The service was quite fast and in about 3-5 mins we got our orders. Mine was on a very very hot plate so it was too hot for me to consume immediately (not that this matters xD). I got a taste of the Chicken and it was juicy, tender but at the same time it still has the crunchiness on its skin (👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼). Then when I started to eat my order, I noticed that there's no Kimchi (which is what you'll normally look for in a korean dish), which I thought the sauce might be kimchi flavored. But there really is no kimchi even on the sauce. So I was not very happy because although I don't like eating very spicy food, I still want to taste the flavor of the kimchi because for me it completes the dish. Nonetheless the beef was good as well as the rest of the toppings, only it lacks the flavor of kimchi (👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼)*there are levels of spiciness, I think the spicier levels might have kimchi in it :)

bumped in with this resto by accident.. ordered jajangmyun and bibimbap bulgogi TO-Go bibimbap was ok compared to jajangmyun. havin to taste the authentic jajangmyun in korea can easily differentiate the taste irregardless how it looked like compared to how it is really should be. wrong noodle and sauce, maybe coz this type of ingredients are not commonly available in the local market. taste is adjusted for Filipinos not at all spicy. still room for improvements. the place looks nice.

We enjoyed this Rock The Bap dish a classical Bimbimbap served in a hot sizzling plate sans the hot red bean paste that they usually serve in Korea, the Gochujang.

One word. BLAND.I ordered the bibimbap Korean fried chicken for more than P200. Definitely not worth the price. The colorful dish fooled me as I expected it to taste flavorful. I had to keep adding their sweet toyo sauce to my dish just so it would taste like something. Disappointing and not coming back here again. Hope they improve their food.

Tried another resto at the block. My little sister and I love korean food so we tried the bibimpap at Rock & Seoul. If you have a big apetite you can have the whole plate just for you. For the couples you can share the plate. For the price ranging 200 to 280 pesos you can have a different type of bibimpap. I love their sauce which enhance the zucchini and other vegetable in the bibimpap. Over all it is worth a try.

I am an avid korean food fan and decided to try this last june 7 before i went to shoot. The menu and ambiance was very promising. You can customize the bibimbap and you can order different kinds of bibimbap for a higher price. The ambiance was nice. Although I dont get why a korean restaurant have US decors but i thought they were aiming for a more familiar theme for pinoys. We ordered the Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap (P260) , Original Bibimbap(P210),  Chapchae(P160) and Mixed Seafood bibimbap (P260) with unli dalandan juices. It was served to us and there was lack of sauce and more importantly Kimchi in our bibimbaps (who misses that), the juice tasted like a half prepared powdered dalandan juice. The Chapchae wasnt even LEGIT, it should be thin glass noodles instead im given thick noodles WTH. Also who uses ground beef for an original bibimbap? :( The food was bland and was not special. For that price point we could've eaten in a more legit korean resto. I feel we were ripped off that day. This is the first time I try something new that ain't a hit with me. Food 2/5 - was so-soService 2/5 - not really attentiveAmbiance 3/5 - well decorated although there were burn stains on the wooden tables. Price 1/5 - hella expensive for that kind of fake korean food. I shouldve ate somewhere else.
