The good: you'll leave the place impressed by the friendly staff and excellent service. But the food was average. It's good but there was nothing in both presentation and flavor that would make me want to go back a second time. We ordered both versions of the Kare Kare, the Ox tail and one with just vegetables. General's chicken, lechon kawali with kangkong and Gising gising. These lacked a "wow factor". They need to have a signature dish that will leave customers with a craving so they'll want to go back for more. Otherwise, people will have no real reason to go back. I was very impressed by the staff though. They were very attentive. Service was excellent! Pity the food was not too memorable.

So after the tiny shawarma rice plate, I got hungry again after about an hour. A friend told me that I could find good affordable food here. I was greatly disappointed at the pork adobo flakes set meal. It's served with rice, a sauce, an egg, and iced tea. The highlight of my meal was the egg. The flakes were so dry you could choke on them. I was also taken aback by how sour the adobo sauce was. I should've gotten something else.

Well after our movie at 9pm decided to dine here want some sinigang soup. We ordered pork sinigang, crispy tilapia, beef steak, lumpia togue, seafood rice, crispy adobo flakes and mix seafood. Well we just tried Recipes last nov1 at trinoma and it make an impression for us but this time i think the service was the only exceptional nothing else the food did disappoint us abit the sinigang soup they use rotten vegetable or(sira nang gulay) the string beans had yellow and green color also for the kangkong while the eghplant they have black spot like a black hole. The adobo flake is also a no no so hard like reheat already. The mix seafood is all squid and dory fish. Hope the management do something about it...we just already liking recipes food but here comes a NO NO NO....

My family’s hard to please when it comes to food. But Recipes was a surprise! We ordered kare-kareng veggies, bangus steak and beef steak, and we were pleased with the taste and the price.Another time, I went there with friends, and the food was enjoyable—kare-kareng ox, adobo flakes and gising-gising!I think, it has just become a favorite among family and friends!

Being "budgetarians" my wife and I tried the set meals. I had the Adobo Flakes, while the Mrs had the Bangus Steak. Mine was delicious and crispy and the adobo sauce wasn't sour, which is what i really prefer. The Bangus wasn't that good according to my wife. The service was very good and the place roomy and relaxing. The price was reasonable too.
