Me and my friends had an early dinner in this resto few months ago. We tried their pastas but I forgot their variety names because I'm not quite satisfied with its taste and it is a bit pricey. I also tried their salted caramel pretzel milkshake which I really love because its sweet and salty flavor. I will definitely go back and try the other stuff from their menu.

Was curious about this restaurant because we only have a few cheese steak restaurants in the city. We had the provolone cheese steak and all American hotdog. We were extremely disappointed with the cheese steak because the bread was dry, and there wasn't enough cheese. The hotdog saved our lunch though. The shakes were thick and okay! The waiters very attentive and friendly. Hopefully they improve their bread and add more cheese to their sandwiches since it's the only cheese steak place in the area.

Ambiance of the place is really good. Cozy and the music is loud enough to give your experience a boost. Servers were very attentive and friendly as well.We ordered their Salted Caramel Milkshake and we loved it. I think the price is worth the quality of their milkshake. Now, I ordered their Philly's (Whiz): huge serving, very juicy, and I loved the cheese. Also worth the price.Sure to suggest this place to my friends. :) Keep it up!

My colleagues in the office and I worked up an appetite, so we decided to go to Maginhawa. One of them was a first-timer so he gets to choose the resto. He wanted burgers and Shakes so off we went to RBY. The store is on the 2nd level of a 4-storey bldg. Parking at the front may be difficult on peak hours but you can use the sidewalk on both sides of the street. The ambience of the place is simple and minimalist, almost industrial with unpainted cemented floors and a black ceiling. There were pictures of Philadelphia on the walls that try to give you the impression of looking out of windows. Their specialty is Philly cheesesteak and burgers, so that's what my friends got. The Independence with cheese is just good old-fashioned cheeseburger with lettuce and tomatoes. Nothing grand, nothing extraordinary. The American hoagie cheesesteak was delicious according to my friend. It looked palatable and they didn't scrimp on the ingredients. I ordered the penne vodka, which was simple and came in a small portion complete with a sad garlic bread. Again, nothing special. The shakes are a different story, though. The vanilla milk shake was thick and not too sweet. The chocolate smores was decadent. I just had the strawberry cream soda, which was really more club soda than strawberry. All in all, an okay experience but we won't come back for sure.
