We were looking for a ramen house since my wife is already craving for it, which has ultimately rubbed off on me too. One of my friends at work recommended Ramen Kuroda at the 3rd floor of Cybermall, which is where most of the restaurants are. If you’re not familiar with Eastwood City, coming from the Citibank/MDC/Mercury Drug entrance, just keep on going straight until you reach the first intersection with a traffic light. While on that intersection, the building to your immediate right should be the Cyber & Fashion mall or what I usually call just Cybermall.

After work, me and my workmates went out to eat at ramen kuroda. My boss being a ramen lover told me this place was a quck fix when you crave ramen but it wasn’t as good as his other faves. But we still ate at it since we craved ramen. Two things: 1.) he was right about it not being the best at ramen and 2.) it was really budget friendly. When we got there, the staff was really polite and attended to our needs right away. Really good customer service. The price is really friendly. Bruh 200+ for a bowl of ramen. Don’t get me wrong, the bowl is big. Flavor wise was where they lost me. I’ve been going around town trying out ramen spots. From little tokyo to kapitolyo to maginhawa. The broth was a bit “umay” and the chashu was really fat it made me a bit dizzy. But nonetheless a quicl fix when I don’t feel like making ramen at home and have a tight budget. Flavor wise 2/5, budget wise 5/5.

I personally always go to Ramen Kuroda - RCBC to get a simple ramen fix after work. (check out my reviews on that branch!) but for the sake of this review, I am commenting on the other items in their menu.Aa a context, my sister was in the metro for a training and she invited me for dinner at Ramen Kuroda. I insisted on trying out other Japanese restos worthy of her P1,000.00 budget but she insisted on Ramen Kuroda because of the variety of items she can order here.We got their teriyaki pork sushi, gyoza and ramens:1. The sushi was superb! But it wasn't rolled tightly so you can see the rice falling apart. I have no qualms though as the teriyaki sauce and japanese mayo was divine!2. Gyoza was so-so.3. My ramen is the buzzer beater. If you have followed me around, you would know my love for spicy food so I ordered their specially spicy baki ramen and BEWARE! This is not for weaklings.First higop palang besh. D ko na kinaya. After our dinner, nag aacid reflux na ako.So if you are a fighter, then I recommend you trying this out! They give extra spicy sauce kung kulang pa ang anghang sayo.As for me - NEVER AGAIN.--- Special commendations to the accomodating staff who deserves a tip and their better circulated place. Kung alam niyo lang an init sa RCBC Branch! Will I return again? Of course! I'll go back to the Aka ramens though.Originally posted at Captivated Child's Facebook page.
