Great place for ramen, as the name implies. I have never been a fan of noodles that much, but after being able to eat in this place. I found it great! I ordered the Spicy Kaage. It was a boneless chicken, served quite spicy in ramen. As well as, some dumplings. They dumplings were served freshly cooked from the steamer, and the noodles was a very servings. The air-conditioning if i may add, was great as well. It stood against the summer heat which was facing the sun that afternoon. They restaurant was very clean as well, as the crew were very accommodating. This would ba a placefor me to go back to a well.

I'm not really a hardcore fan of ramen and other Asian noodle soups, but after spotting Ramen Bar at Eastwood, we opted to try it out.During the lazy afternoon weekends, Ramen Bar is a cozy place to eat merienda and relax while chatting with friends. It has a Japanese ramen stall-inspired interior and has cute drawings displayed on the walls. Laid back Japanese music is even played in the restaurant making you feel like you're actually in Japan. However, during the lunch and dinner hours, the cozy ramen house turns into a jam-packed noodle restaurant with a line of people in the waiting area. And I do understand why people even line up only to dine at Ramen Bar. The ramen served here is good, along with some of the appetizers and side orders on their menu. With two visits at Ramen Bar, we have already tried their Kakuni Buns -- 4 pieces of really filling treats made with pork belly wrapped in a special white bun similar to siopao, and Chahan -- fried rice with eggs and leeks, among their small plates. As for their big bowls, we have sampled their Sapporo Miso Ramen which is my personal favorite, their Shoyu Ramen, and their R.B.S 1 which is another version of Shoyu Ramen with Kakuni. Since Ramen Bar only had one dessert item when we dined, we just had to try it out. It's their Tempura Ice Cream which is truly a great meal ender as it's a cold, sweet and crunchy treat. With lots of ramen places in town, Ramen Bar is a safe bet since it has been around for quite a while. It may not be a franchise imported from Japan, but it has its own charm. Their ramen selection is satisfying both taste-wise and portion-wise as a big bowl of their ramen can already be shared by 2 people. But for someone like me who doesn't only eat for the taste but also for the stomach, then a bowl of Ramen Bar's hot ramen is only good for one.

Sub-par Ramen place. You are paying for the ambiance and not the food.I went in during a weekday in the middle of the afternoon last January 30, 2014 at 2 in the afternoon. I asked the server on duty to give me their bestseller for Ramen. She suggested the RBS 1. Once the RBS 1 was served to me, it was piping hot and full of meat. The meat used were really flavorful and soft to chew, which I like. The quality of noodles are not as I thought them to be. Ramen Bar's noodles are kind of tough, and tastes commercial-based--something I can buy at a nearby convenience store. If there's any consolation, the servings are big!Do not buy their Tempura Ice Cream. It looks pretty once served but the whole thing is just too oily. It's supposed to be frozen ice cream covered in Tempura Batter and deep fried. I wish I just ordered the plain ice cream! I was expecting that it would be crunchy, but the whole thing was soggy. It was terrifying. They put chocolate syrup all over and embellished it with a chocolate wafer stick (think Champola). No amount of fancy can cover up this mess.If you are craving for ramen, please just buy instant noodles from any convenience store rather than order here.

Their affordable Shoyu Ramen is all it takes to relieve stress and get that comforting feeling. One of the nice places to enjoy ramen with their friendly service.
