Disappointed with a previous ramen joint, I still on the hunt for a good ramen treat. When my wife and I saw Rai Rai Ken, there wasn't really anything catchy about it. We went there because we just couldn't think of where to eat. Rai Rai Ken is tucked inside a small space, walls decorated with mirrors to add an illusion of space. We were not really expecting much. We ordered seafood ramen and bento meals (beef misono for her and mixed bento for me). The seafood ramen was surprisingly good -- the soup was a mix of flavors and the noodles had a rich, egg-y taste. They did not also scrimp on the seafood and vegetables. It was already a meal in itself.

Boyfriend and I went here last night and I instatly fell in love with the place, it's clean and organized. We ordered Super California Maki, Butakakuni Plain , Gohan, Sushi Special and Bottomless Red Iced Tea. I like the maki (probably because I am a Maki lover). We didn't like the Butakakuni, it has a lot of fats and a few meat. We were also disappointed with the Sushi Special, ingredients were not fresh and because of that, we think that its price is quiet not reasonable. Utensils were served last which is so wrong and we always have to get the crew's attention to refill our Red Iced Tea. 😔

Went here a few weeks ago. Was disappointed. Ramen is good enough. Service okay I guess. But I was surprised that there was a service fee hahah for that kind of service. And the interior is poorly designed hahaha well, for an architecture student at least

It's quite expensive for the ramen. The broth is not that really rich in flavor, but I was satisfied with the cali maki tho *I ate all the 10 pieces*

Been in Rai Rai Ken thrice and it doesn't disappoint me, the price is kinda expensive, but it's all worth it because of their big servings and the satisfying taste of their food. Their ramen is good - a great comfort food, the gyoza is kinda big - compare to other gyoza I've seen, their tempura batter is so light - delicious! Their ambiance is okay, the service is fast, their staffs is friendly. I just don't like the loudness of their songs. But overall it's a great experience.
