I am in hopes that the people of this restaurant will be seeing this review.I went to Casa Filipino with my son and his yaya around 6pm. At first, I was a bit saddened that there were no people eating dinner at the place. As I looked, the food were almost not touched at all so they've become dry at the top -- almost sticky.I first went to the appetizers side where I saw potato mojos and immediately grabbed a bite of them. I would have liked it if it wasn't THAT spicy. I wish they could include that in the food's name tag: spicy potato mojos. I didn't take another piece after trying that one. Their lumpiang shanghai was tasty but cold. How disappointing. However, their fried dimsum was appropriate to my liking. Although the wrap was too big and yet the meat inside was so small that I took almost 5 dimsums just to be satisfied. Their famous sisig shooters were DELICIOUS but spicy, as well. As you can see, I am not a fan of hot recipes. I wanted to get another sisig shooter but I couldn't take the spiciness of it. Maybe next time they could tone it down a bit. Then I went straight ahead to their main entrees. As I've mentioned, they were untouched. I took a spoonful of their beef in cranberry sauce with apples and it was good but could've been great if it wasn't THAT spicy. So I opted for their chicken in coconut curry sauce instead and my oh my, it wasn't spicy! So I ended up getting lots of it because I was hungry and haven't had the chance to eat properly. Then I tasted their vegetable frittata, the taste was good but it was cold and that disappoints people--cold food disappoints. Their crispy pata and angus beef were tasty but it wasn't hot anymore ? I liked the angus beef but I wish it could've been hotter because I get the feeling that it wasn't freshly cooked. As if that wasn't bad enough, their kare-kare just made me want to breakdown. It was all watery... I couldn't find the meat at all and all I got were twalyas that weren't even soft. Their soup was OILY so I couldn't feed it to my son who wanted sabaw with his rice. So guess what, I gave him the poorly cooked kare-kare because I had no other choice because all the food were SPICY and babies shouldn't eat curry at the age of 1. How sad, right?Their iced tea isn't included in their price. If I'm not mistaken, you have to add 30php in your total bill per person if you want to have it bottomless. But their water, so I guess that makes up for it? Lol!Anyway, halfway through my eating, I was itching on my thigh area as I was wearing a dress. I couldn't concentrate eating because I felt really itchy. I never saw the culprit mosquito but as soon as I saw two insect bites on my thighs I knew what had happened. What saved the night was their maja blanca de ube pastry. I am not a fan of sweets but this one got me. Holy moly, as soon as I got a bite of it I wanted to curse! IT WAS SO GOOD I couldn't believe it came from the restaurant which cooked kare-kare that belonged in the drain. I know, harsh, sorry. But it's true. And I want this place to be a success so they have to change their cooks.I went to this place because I was looking for a place where I can bring my family who's coming home from UK. But I'm having seconds thoughts now. I'd like to give it a try again provided they will be serving a better kare-kare and much more delicious angus beef and crispy pata. Please heed my request.PS. They didn't have high chairs so the yaya was carrying our baby the whole night. We couldn't let him on his own on the chair because he would fall. We couldn't concentrate on our meals because we were more worried of our child's safety and comfort. Seriously though, bakit wala kayong high chair?

My debut was held in this restaurant. I'm satisfied with their service. And the food is really good. My guests really admired the food. They serve food most Filipinos eat.

We were here just last night for a family reunion dinner. We didnt go for the buffet, my Aunt pre-ordered the food and had it set up in their mini function room. The Soup: i believe it was a corn soup. Didnt get one for me but my sister said it tasted like "Am". Like the baby food? Yeah.Carbona: There were bacon bits and parmesan on top. The pasta it self, none. Didnt have anything with it. No ham, no mushroom, nothing. And i tasted nothing at all. Baked Veggies: it was like a veggie omelette. Tasted bland. There was a dory dish. I dunno what it's called. It was okay. I tasted something. And it's cream dory so the fish alone is okay. Fried Chicken was okay. Like the one you can get from karinderias. And the gravy? Ugh. It's watery. You could have served Mang Tomas instead, it's way better. Kaldereta or beef something: my brother said it tasted weird. Caprichon: something you could get from local karinderias as well. Sisig Wrap: i was expecting a lot from this one. According to most reviews i have read online, this one is really good and might be the best this restau can offer. Buuuut, it was just okay and too salty for me. I mean, i can have better sisig somewhere else. That made me sad. LolMaybe i was just expecting too much cause i have read really nice reviews online.

When my boyfriend and I went there a couple of months ago, the food was good, the staff was friendly and the place was clean... My boyfriend and I love to eat out and we don't eat twice in a restaurant if we didn't like the food... Our wedding will be held in Primero Casa Filipino this coming weekend.... It will be just a simple wedding celebration. My fiance and I are both hoping that it will leave a good impression to all our guests the way it impressed us when we first visited.

We had dinner here with my family. Filipino dish with a touch of classy presentation. Price is just right. The place is an old house turned to resto. Very quiet. I like the taste of the food specially the cakes. Not so sweet and moist. Nice place for family and friends gathering
