I recently watched a documentary about the benefits of having a plant-based diet and instantly got inspired. So I decided to look for a vegan resto here in website and luckily Pipino resto was just a couple of blocks away from my office so i decided to check it out. Its located at the second floor where PINO resto is located. The place is somewhat small for a typical resto but the place is very cozy and neat. The staff are approachable and friendly. I asked the staff what she recommends as best seller and suggestes d that i try the Vegetable Kare-Kare. At first inwas hesitant because im not a bagoong lover but cusiousity got the best of me. So I ordered the kare-kare for takeout. I must say that Pipino’s Kare-Kare is exceptional and probably one of the best Kare-Kare in Metro. And the bagoong! For the first time, i began to like the bagoong. It was not the typical bagoong. Theirs was made from black beans and I instantly fell in love with it. I shared my food with my colleagues and they too said that it was delicious.Im looking forward to trying out the other foods that they have. Keep it up Pipino! Great Job!Ooops! I forgot. I also tried their breakfast smoothie! You have to try it too. Delicious and very nutritious. 🙂

Can’t get enough of their Tofu Sisig and Vegetable Kare Kare! Aside from the main dishes, I also enjoyed their Vegan Halo Halo (I’ve posted a photo of it here, please check it out!) . I thank my Vegan friend who brought me here!

If you dine in here you could get their vegetarian and nonVegetarian menu. Places are named Pipino and Pino, respectively. We tried aligue gambas, pakbet risotto, kalderatang lengua. The aligue gambas was super tasty! Rich creamy aligue sauce and shrimps, very yummy. As for the lengua, I couldn’t appreciate it much since the lengua was cut into small bits and it being cooked in kaldereta did not highlight it well. The pakbet risotto was good. the risotto itself is good but I did not like the veggies topped on it and the bagoong. Overall, a good experience. Highly recommend the shirmp gambas!

Had my first vegan burger here. Pipino was one of those establishments that got me to stay plant-based for quite a while. Some of my faves: black bean burger and vegan kare kare.

For vegan food, this resto is the best! I ordered my fave Portobello Mushroom and they simply delivered what I am expecting. My partner, feeling ill that day, ordered brown rice arroz caldo which is also great tasting! Will definitely go back since its just below my favorite salon upstairs

Always been a favorite. Ordered the usual:- Vegetable Kare Kare 5/5-Cauliflower Fritters 5/5 (goes very well with their dip)-Longsilog-Cucumber shake And it was all heavenly. Even tried one of their cupcake and it was sooo good. Definitely a gem along malingap.

One of the best vegetarian places I've tried! It's a small quaint place near Maginhawa. The food servings are very generous and very tasty (the sauces are amazing). Servers are nice but it takes quite a bit of time for orders to be doled out. Price is very affordable.

We came here for late-night Pies at "Pi" only to find out that it's only open until 2PM -- only after then would this little gem known as "Pipino" open.We had Black Bean Burger which has a wonderful ground tausi burger and somewhat-dry buns that still manages to go great with a big pineapple slice and mango salsa. It also comes with a sour BBQ sauce and a light, fluttery ranch sauce. Yummy!!Apart from that, we also ordered a tasty Cauliflower rice and Callos. The Callos had the usual callos vegetables (red bell pepper, carrot, potato, garbanzos) and tofu as the "star protein" all bathing in a rich tomato sauce. Enjoyed every minute of it!For dessert, we had the Vegan Chocolate Cake which was on the dark side of the chocolate cake spectrum. We loved it!Definitely will come back here to try the other Vegan menu items!(As a side note, we ordered Callos mainly because the menu states it has "vegan sausage". I expected that would be similar to veggie meat, surprised to see that it meant tofu. )

I've been coming to Pipino since 2011. I've seen it constantly expanding its menu and changing its interiors (at least twice). Some of my default and personal faves include vegan burgers (portobello mushroom; bean), lasagna, kalabasa pasta, and variety of salads. For drinks, i always go for pipino cooler (you can have it hot too). Though lately, several items in the menu are not regularly available, particularly the vegan burgers. In terms of location, I personally liked the first one better (situated in the 2nd floor of the bldg) as it's well lit and has high ceiling, though new location (ground flr) is more spacious. There is no wifi so defo not a place to do some computer work. Overall, it is a nice place to get a quick fix of vegan cravings at a fairly decent price.
