I recently watched a documentary about the benefits of having a plant-based diet and instantly got inspired. So I decided to look for a vegan resto here in website and luckily Pipino resto was just a couple of blocks away from my office so i decided to check it out. Its located at the second floor where PINO resto is located. The place is somewhat small for a typical resto but the place is very cozy and neat. The staff are approachable and friendly. I asked the staff what she recommends as best seller and suggestes d that i try the Vegetable Kare-Kare. At first inwas hesitant because im not a bagoong lover but cusiousity got the best of me. So I ordered the kare-kare for takeout. I must say that Pipino’s Kare-Kare is exceptional and probably one of the best Kare-Kare in Metro. And the bagoong! For the first time, i began to like the bagoong. It was not the typical bagoong. Theirs was made from black beans and I instantly fell in love with it. I shared my food with my colleagues and they too said that it was delicious.Im looking forward to trying out the other foods that they have. Keep it up Pipino! Great Job!Ooops! I forgot. I also tried their breakfast smoothie! You have to try it too. Delicious and very nutritious. 🙂

Can’t get enough of their Tofu Sisig and Vegetable Kare Kare! Aside from the main dishes, I also enjoyed their Vegan Halo Halo (I’ve posted a photo of it here, please check it out!) . I thank my Vegan friend who brought me here!

If you dine in here you could get their vegetarian and nonVegetarian menu. Places are named Pipino and Pino, respectively. We tried aligue gambas, pakbet risotto, kalderatang lengua. The aligue gambas was super tasty! Rich creamy aligue sauce and shrimps, very yummy. As for the lengua, I couldn’t appreciate it much since the lengua was cut into small bits and it being cooked in kaldereta did not highlight it well. The pakbet risotto was good. the risotto itself is good but I did not like the veggies topped on it and the bagoong. Overall, a good experience. Highly recommend the shirmp gambas!

Had my first vegan burger here. Pipino was one of those establishments that got me to stay plant-based for quite a while. Some of my faves: black bean burger and vegan kare kare.

For vegan food, this resto is the best! I ordered my fave Portobello Mushroom and they simply delivered what I am expecting. My partner, feeling ill that day, ordered brown rice arroz caldo which is also great tasting! Will definitely go back since its just below my favorite salon upstairs
