Looks decent, but the waffles were anything but. Waffles are supposed to be airy, light and moist on the inside, and crunchy on the outside. These were chewy and dense inside and out. Makes me wonder if they were trying to make waffles or bagels?? So gross. I don't know how they could bear to disrespect waffles so much.Tip: don't believe the recommended dishes on website. 😑Also, I asked for my eggs over easy.

First off, kudos to the 6am opening time. Such an important detail for a breakfast place. The place was great too, a charming little restaurant that can seat around 20-30 people, with scribbles of chalk around the walls. We ordered eggs benny and caramelized spam. The former was good; I especially liked the english muffins but would personally prefer poached eggs over five minute/soft boiled eggs. However, the hollandaise sauce lacked taste. The spam meanwhile had loads of spam coated with sugar, which was surprisingly a great combination. The sweetness of the sugar complemented the saltiness of the spam perfectly. One thing I liked too, which also surprised me, was their rice. Definitely a must try.For dessert, we tried the banana and cream pie, which was not too sweet and was a perfect ending to the meal.We had pinto iced tea (which, I guess, was from the neighboring bar ‘Pinto’) and hot chocolate. Both were okay. The servers were helpful and also took initiative i.e. when I spilled the hot chocolate and was wiping the saucer, he offered a replacement for the saucer without needing to be called. Price-wise, you totally get your money’s worth. Both delicious and filling.

Me & my friends were craving breakfast food so we decided to go here for a meal; it was the prefect place to be! Loved the food and the ambiance. We'll definitely come back again.

The place was full when we got there around 9:30am but we were able to get a table for two. The food was ok and the amount of the serving was good. My dad’s suggestion for the smoked bangus however, was to have a choice of having only half the fish with a cheaper price.

I’ve been itching to try this for a while now. I know it’s kinda costly but I was craving for pancakes at that time. Their serving is very generous that it my lasted until dinner hehe #tipidtipsThe food are great but you can still look for other restos that served the same food for a friendly price hehe

As a person who often craves breakfast-for-dinner, this restaurant was a great choice for me and my boyfriend's anniversary. I'd heard of Pi Breakfast and Pies way back in college. I knew it was a Maginhawa mainstay and not one of those that suddenly disappear after a few years--a testament to its quality. And I wasn't disappointed. Despite coming in for dinner around an hour before closing, the staff were pleasant and attentive. Ambiance is quiet, perfect for titahan or a quiet night out. I ordered the Salmon Eggs Benny (?) while Paul had the regular Eggs Benedict (because meat). Presentation was superb, and the taste was amazing. It looks light but you'd be surprised how filling the dishes are. Thankfully we still had room for dessert! The pie we had was delightfully citrus-y and moist. Would recommend! Giving the place a 4 for now until we get to try more of their offerings.

I got the caramelized spam. Liked the way they cut it into cubes. It went really well with kimchi. But i liked the tapa better. Egg was cooked the way I like it. Servings are huge. That crack pie is good.

I got curious with the Pi breakfast platter (which is a big breakfast serving with a high cost). I like everything on the plate, especially the corned beef. It's a small place but the food here is good! Taste-wise, the food was a charmer but cost-wise you'll probably try other breakfast place nearby.
