Looks decent, but the waffles were anything but. Waffles are supposed to be airy, light and moist on the inside, and crunchy on the outside. These were chewy and dense inside and out. Makes me wonder if they were trying to make waffles or bagels?? So gross. I don't know how they could bear to disrespect waffles so much.Tip: don't believe the recommended dishes on website. 😑Also, I asked for my eggs over easy.

Lalo yung rice meal nila na nasa photo nakalimutan ko nalang yung pangalan pero super sarap! Mapapa extra rice ka talaga. Try niyo dito guys!

First off, kudos to the 6am opening time. Such an important detail for a breakfast place. The place was great too, a charming little restaurant that can seat around 20-30 people, with scribbles of chalk around the walls. We ordered eggs benny and caramelized spam. The former was good; I especially liked the english muffins but would personally prefer poached eggs over five minute/soft boiled eggs. However, the hollandaise sauce lacked taste. The spam meanwhile had loads of spam coated with sugar, which was surprisingly a great combination. The sweetness of the sugar complemented the saltiness of the spam perfectly. One thing I liked too, which also surprised me, was their rice. Definitely a must try.For dessert, we tried the banana and cream pie, which was not too sweet and was a perfect ending to the meal.We had pinto iced tea (which, I guess, was from the neighboring bar ‘Pinto’) and hot chocolate. Both were okay. The servers were helpful and also took initiative i.e. when I spilled the hot chocolate and was wiping the saucer, he offered a replacement for the saucer without needing to be called. Price-wise, you totally get your money’s worth. Both delicious and filling.
