Peri PerI Charcoal Chicken in Libis serves quality juicy flavorful grilled smokey chicken at an affrdable price. We ordered two sets of quarter chicken with 2 sides. I had steamed rice and corn with carrots while my hubby had garlic java rice and corn with carrots. As for the sauce, I chose sweet soy and hubby had garlic sauce. Everything was excellent. Until we asked the bill and we were told that their credit card terminals were not working well and we had to pay in cash.

This is my favorite chicken restaurant in the metro. Always going back for the peri-peri style chicken and the various sauces the restaurant offers. My go-to order is the 1/4 chicken with 1 side. I choose the garlic rice but there are lots of sides to choose from. My recommended sauce is definitely the garlic brew! This has the savory and garlicky taste with the just right kick of spiciness.Sauces in the picture from left to right are: sweet soy, garlic brew and hoisin sauce.2nd visit - noticed that chicken became smaller significantly. See picture below. Sad for my ex-favorite resto.

Their chicken set menu is great. You get to choose your sidings. It is perfect for the whole family and even kids loved it. The price is okay. Most of all, their staff is amazing. My nephew had his birthday dinner here and when we bought out the cake, a Happy Birthday song played on their soundsystem (without us informing the staff) It's really the little things.

(F)ood:Love the serving size of the dishes and the sauces for the chicken are really something to look out for. They have group meals that are good for quite a number of people but what I love also are their small plates which could already satisfy you even before you get to eat your main meals.(A)mbience:I find the place rather crowded. The table spacings are just a few spaces apart which can be uncomfortable sometimes, but they do have al fresco seating options. The place is covered with murals and eye-catching colorful bottles.(B)utler Service:The food takes time before it is served but servers are attentive and provides your requests as soon as. I am not sure if this branch is understaffed, since iyt also takes time for servers to service some tables.

Thumbs up for Peri Peri Chicken!!!! The ambiance is good and instagrammable! I love the sauces and I wish I could taste them all but we only had 3 of it. So I guess theres always a reason to comeback to check it out! And the dynamite...indeed explosive! 👏👏👏

I know they specialize in chicken, but I couldn’t help but order the crispy tilapia with mango salsa and a side of bacon mac and cheese. I was dining alone, but enjoyed every minute of it. The tilapia was cooked well, and the mango salsa balanced out the flavors. I’m coming back to try the chicken, but my first dining experience was pretty great regardless.

Great moderately priced fast-food chicken & sides.Good: Chicken. Sauces. Okay: Sides were mostly underwhelming. Mozzarella sticks for example had almost no flavor.Bad: Queso con Chorizo- WTF was that? It was watery, runny, and didn't have any chorizo. Awful. Service - had to get my own water.Son likes it. Will return.

Their sauces are for the win. You can ask for a sample of each and explore which one would match your dish. I usually order their quarter chicken with 2 sides. And my fav side is their mac n cheese, ugh! I really love their mac n cheese. Love their milk shakes too! You just have to fall in line sometimes to get inside cause whenever we try to come here they’re usually full. Nevertheless it’s great dining here.

Bad experience for first timer on this branch because i have tried Peri peri in Robinsons Ermita and it was an awesome and was expecting the same service..We were only 3 and was asking for available table and a receptionist assist us and we advise her to get our orders na while waiting for the table to be vacant, but since many of the staffs are out on breaks she needs to clear the just vacant table and she will get back to us. We waited patiently outside looking at her finished cleaning our table and be seated. After she finished cleaning our table I saw from the outside a man in uniform(staff) transferred another seated customers to our supposed table, and so I approached the man and ask him why he gave away our table since we were outside waiting for that one to be cleaned. Then he pointed another table that supposed to be our table and the staff is still cleaning it. I ask for the manager and surpringly he is the manager, whose been seating inside their store while customers are waiting outside without being assisted and asked for the advance orders..they are lacking of staffs managers should be doing something to assist their customers.

We came here again yesterday (May 4, 2019) and I found my favorite sauce - “Cajun Remoulade”. Going back here was reminiscing of the fact that they have java rice. Maybe because I haven’t eaten rice in two days. Haha. Coleslaw could have been better and separated with the sauce but typical coleslaw is often like that, so, I hope their promo set includes salad with a separate sauce instead. I don’t really like mayonnaise unless it’s Japanese. We availed of the Php 799 set meal, worth it! It’s really for 4 persons. I don’t think their unlimited soup is too worth it for the taste but I think it’s too affordable for the price. Their chicken with different sauces so is. I hope they have unlimited chicken cause it’s really so good. No burns on their charcoal chicken and I can’t get enough of the sauces cause there’s so much to try, I think they should change their soup to clam chowder instead of chicken.
