It looks good on the picture but I'm sort of disappointed when they served it. I'm sort of starving at that time so I guess it should taste a lil better but I didn't like much of it. Maybe because I was expecting beefy strips, like real beef with no fats? Not sure though about beef fats.

Honestly I didn't know that there's Pepper Lunch in the Philippines. When I saw it in Trinoma before, I thought its just another sizzling food place to eat! After dining with friends in Trinoma foodcourt, it was good! I only notice that the Pepper Lunch in other country that I tried is more spicy than ours.

One of the choices at Trinoma food court. Since this is just a food court stall, price is a little lower than from their restaurants (around 40 pesos for the Beef Pepper rice). They also offer salads and dessert. I usually order the Beef Pepper Rice. I'm not sure if there's a difference on the size serving but it's more than enough for me. I like how the butter and pepper make it delicious - the more you mix it, the more it becomes flavorful.

My default order here is always always curry beef pepper rice .. add in some soy garlic sauce.. voila!! Pakasaraaaaaapppp!! And the express size is just right for me compared to.their resto size

Always a good choice at Trinoma's food court...Pepper Lunch is a great and affordable way to satisfy meat and rice cravings. I usually order the beef pepper rice or the garlic beef pepper rice. Lots of carbs, I know!😊 All of their rice orders are delicious with their honey sauce. I find the regular order bitin, so I upsize to either more beef or more of the beef & rice. Hehe, sorry matakaw!😅 Just remember to let the food cool down before biting in. I have burned my tongue more times than I care to admit as I consumed my order...

I had my first Pepper Lunch at greenbelt when it first opened. Wasn't impressed then after two servings and didn't come back since. I tried Pepper Lunch Express on Trinoma to give it one more chance and unfortunately it's my last. While it had its redeeming qualities like a really friendly staff and fast service, but the food is a let down, more so for the price point you're paying. I ordered Curry Beef with Cheese. I was hoping for flavor but not as punchy as I thought it would be. The serving size is really small, it's just mostly rice and a measly number of beef strips. They do offer upgrades but I feel like it's a disservice when their regular serving can be chalked up as a "jr" size. For the price of 190+ it's definitely not worth it. The miso soup has great flavor though a bit thin. And when served lukewarm, not really that good at all. With iced tea it amounts to a $5 meal, and comparatively speaking with the rest of the sizzling kiosks, it comes across as a rip off. I think there's something good when half the people at food choices is eating Pepper Lunch meals, however it failed me even with ridiculously low expectations.

I think the price is a bit high for the amount of meat you are getting (even if it is a good cut of beef) but I always eat at Pepper Lunch Express when I can't choose where to eat because you can't really go wrong with a piping hot rice meal.I think the fact that my food stays hot throughout the meal is what I like most about Pepper Lunch.

The kani salad is the bomb! First time to try the salmon pepper rice and added egg, nothing extraordinary about it. Maybe next time I'll try adding cheese for that variation of flavor. Their miso soup was unexpectedly good.

We visited trinoma branch @food court.. we ordered the classic beef pepper rice still very good but the strip of beef is like only 5 pieces and it is very small.. what happen pepper lunch???!! yum but not worth it!
