Was treated to an incredible feast here thanks to website and Pepeton! I thought I lost my photos on here but when I finally found them, I thought I'd still share my experience.Delighting Filipino families for years in the Scout area, I'm glad to have had finally sampled dishes from their incredible and extensive menu! Below are some notable items on the menu that I loved!!They're best known of course for their Kapalmuks, deep-fried pork face that's oh so crispy and juicy!Bandehadong Sarap #1 is the ultimate appetizer platter! That in itself is already a party for your tummy with all kinds of good stuff! They nailed the Inihaw na Pusit! Nice and tender, and absolutely fresh.Do not miss their sago't gulaman drink that's bottled along with other goodies that you can take home!.Absolutely legit food that'll stuff you to the brim! They can definitely improve on their interiors, but for me, the food is enough to win you over

Food comes in big servings. Not suitable for 2 people. Best if you come in group. Don’t forget to order their famous “Kapalmuks” and a pineapple juice of course😛

My first impression when I entered the restaurant is that the waiters were snobbish. I stood there beside the reception area waiting for the girl and the older guy in red to accomodate me (they've seen me entered and they just continued conversing with each other ☹).Finally, a guy in white polo shirt approached me and led me to a table near the flat screen TV. The place is well lit and cozy. Most of the people dining are either families or barkadas. There are tables outside dedicated for smokers and those who are having a bottle of beer.I tried their Chicken Teriyaki, Pepeton's Fried Rice, and their Caramelized Saba. I also ordered their Sago't Gulaman (the cup was almost as big as a pitcher 😲). Serving portions were big, everything was good for sharing. Quality of the foods was on the average side, nothing special but will still satisfy your cravings.Since most items I ordered were sweet, I glutted out and just requested to have the remaining foods as to-go.Food Quality 👍Serving Size 👍Price 👍Payment method 👍- cash and cards acceptedAmbiance 👍Service 👎🏿- kind of slow and some staffs are snobbishStaffs 🖖 - I'm split about it. Those in red uniforms are snobbish while those in white polo shirts are very helpful and accomodating.Pepeton's is a good place to hangout with a group or have a short informal meeting with a client. For me it's a 3.5/5 overall rating and I might visit again.

Pepeton's on Mother Ignacia is one of the Scout area's best kept secrets, the silent, steadfast friend of the neighborhood for more than two decades. Over the years I used to hear from friends about it, in recent years because of a notorious dish called "Kapalmuks", and I now regret not having come over much sooner. The owners, the Palatto family, are Ilocanos and have business partners and friends in the hospitality industry. This shows in the menu, which is interesting and surprisingly deep. Portions are generous, orders usually for four or more, so ask and order carefully. Their Ultimate Barbecue platter looks good for 4-6 people, by itself enough for a "liquid" lunch or dinner, pulutan-style. It has pork barbecue, roasted pig's ear, and chicken gizzards, chicken liver, and chicken isol laid on banana leaf. The Bandehadong Sarap #1 is an upgrade on this theme, with genuine crispy tawilis from Taal, kangkong fritters, Lumpiang Shanghai, chicken wings, crispy pork's ear, and battered baby shrimp. If you want rice, try their rice with toppings - the Bundok Rice, topped with mango and chicharon, or their Palabok Rice, with Palabok noodle sauce, shrimp, and more chicharon. They do their own play with sisig, with tofu and lechon/chicharron-topped versions, and they make something called Bachichay - deep-fried, salted pork belly - which makes its appearance in a "Chicha-sisig" and their Crispy Kare-Kare, whose sauce is thick and tasty, and garnished with house-made bagoong alamang and pickles. It's hard not to go on and on, because there are so many celebratory dishes to choose from, like the Kapalmuks I've already mentioned - deep fried pork face that dares and dazzles in presentation. They also make their own Porketta Ball or boneless lechon roll, served sliced and ready to eat at table. Thankfully, there are steamed and lean dishes one can order alongside all these, like their pinasingawang gulay (steamed vegetables), or sinuman tyan na bangus, which is steamed filet and belly of bangus in tomato in banana leaf. Even their sinigang na Ulo ng Salmon (salmon head) is good! The restaurant looks in need of a facelift, which they say they will probably do next year. But look at their menu. Items are priced fairly and reasonably. If all goes to plan, they will also be operating a take-out stall in Malingap Central in months to come. The food is legit! Le-git!What I'll eat when I come back: Sinigang na Bulalo Tortang TalongPapaitan#zomatofmu

Not what I've expected, taste of food is not that good. I just thought it still the same way back before when they're still starting. Quite disappointed 😔

Pepeton's is a chill place to hang out over beer with friends and get your fill of Filipino grilled food.Ask for the double chilled beers if you're not used to drinking beer with ice.The dishes are quite large and good for sharing. We liked the tofu sisig, chicken liver bbq, caldereta and chicken teriyaki. Kinilaw tanigue and steamed bangus were ok

Actual rating: 3.5I expected more. Nonetheless, it was a fun experience to try their unique dishes here.We ordered the palabok rice, maskara (deep fried pig face), sizzling beef, camaron, and some barbecues (ie. liver, pork). The palabok rice was basically rice cooked with palabok sauce. What you think is what you get. Nothing else. The sizzling beef was good! It was a little bit salty, although the sweetness and spicy kick of the dish complimented altogether. The camaron was disappointing. The batter wasn’t crispy, nor was it served hot. The prawns were also small. The barbecues were good, cooked well with flavor of the marinade used, albeit a bit overcooked. The maskara was fatty, but it was unique and tasty! It wasn’t crispy all throughout. However, the experience was quite interesting as you steer away from your typical sisig pulutan. In any case, I felt the calories greatly here. The dish was served hot and best paired with their dipping sauces.
