I'm sure there are a lot of reasons to go back in this cafe. I'm sure the cakes are great. But the reason I'm coming back in this cafe is actually their caramel affogatto (Php 90). I have been looking for a decent affogatto and this one passed the test for me. One option is to buy mcdo's brewed coffee and mix it with caramel sundae, but Parvati's is better still.

Took our snacks last night at this place with pasta (pene & bolognese) and it was absolutely perfect to our taste buds... We have also tried their grilled chicken salad, so crunchy and big serving surprisingly... And their sandwich, the one with vigan longganisa and organic egg, it melted in our mouth... Finally, we have ordered frozen Brazo de Mercedes, speechless... We also took out some red velvet cupcakes and white chocolate cake (box of 8) as bday gift to a friend... Definitely, we'll be coming back again...

After a VERY disappointing dinner at a diner somewhere, we quickly decided that we needed something to make up for the lousy meal we just had. Since my BFF Tina and our nanay haven’t been to Parvati yet, there we went.We posted about Parvati before. It’s indeed a one stop dessert shop and they help home-based bakers market their products without worrying about opening their own stores. When we went there the first time, the place only had a few tables. When we returned, more seats are available to diners. They also had a few additional items on their menu, particularly their beverages. We were excited to try different goodies so we ended up with four (4) dessert variations.Let’s start off with what we had for drinks. Ken ordered the Hot White Chocolate (Php 100). It’s made of Belgian white chocolate buttons and is very rich. Not really suitable with desserts, but we still enjoyed this.My nanay and I both ordered their Honey Apple Iced Tea (Php 90). Nothing really surprising. It was refreshing and subtly sweet nonetheless (I ended up with 2 photos to use up the full width of our content space – nag-explain?! ;) ).Tina ordered the mouth-watering Cafe Mocha with Caramel Candied Cashews (Php 100). It had vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, whipped cream and candied cashews – a killer combination! Ken regretted not ordering this instead of his hot cup of white choco. :DFinally, the desserts! First was Dezato Mochi Ice Cream. The sticky rice dough that wrapped the ice cream was pillowy soft. The ice cream could be creamier, but it was still very delightful. In fact, none of us wanted to share. :DWe ordered the box of 6 for Php 295. We had mocha / coffee, chocolate, mango, strawberry, vanilla and avocado flavors. I only got to try 3 and we all agreed we’d be coming back for more. :) I want to try their Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate with Peanut Butter next time, but we might just drop by their cafe instead in New Manila.Next are these Dark Chocolate Walnut Revel Bars from Sweet Beginnings Patisserie (box of 4 – Php 90). They’re to die for, I tell yah!Dark Chocolate Walnut Revel Bars from Sweet Beginnings PatisserieWhen the chewy dark chocolate fudge melted in my mouth, I felt like I was in chocolate heaven. :D The revel bars are chewy, and the oatmeal plus the roasted nuts added a delicious texture and saltiness to it that complemented the dark, slightly bitter flavor of the chocolate. *sigh* Sinfully good!Up next was The Dome (small – Php 125) from Sweet Sherise. This is one of the popular chocolate goodies at Parvati so we just had to taste it.How good was it?! Imagine this: chocolate cake filled with Nutella chocolate mousse, covered in dark chocolate ganache and then everything’s surrounded by chocolate chips. A definite must-try indulgence, fellow chocoholics. ;) It wasn’t overly sweet as you might have imagined because of the dark chocolate.Last, but definitely not the least was this slice of Pistachio Sans Rival from Tayabel. I’m not such a fan of food with nuts, but pistachios, I love. This was the ultimate dessert that night at Parvati. We didn’t really expect this to be the winning plate of goodness so we devoured it last. As soon as a forkful of this landed on my tongue, I started uttering words of sweet satisfaction (uhm… wholesome). Ken can’t stop raving about it too! :DThe layers of meringue that sandwiched the pistachio cream filling crumbled delicately in my mouth. The roasted pistachios’ crunch and saltiness was a homerun. A slice costs Php 130. Pricey you might think, but wait ‘til you taste it. ;)Obviously, we were VERY gratified with everything we had at Parvati. We spent the whole night enjoying each pastry, completely erasing any negativity from our horrific experience earlier that night. It was exactly what we needed. If only I can have a serving of any of these desserts after I take care of an issue with ourcable managementhere in our area resulting to poor internet connection. Anyway, writing this post just perked me up. I can still remember the delectable sweets we had that night. This time, I’m giving Parvati in Trinoma 5 stars and a MUST-TRY rating. Their service has improved and they have savory dishes available too which amped their rating on our book. We’re definitely coming back. ;)

Adventurous with desserts? This is perfect for you. A place where dessert enthusiasts collide. From home baked goodies to dine in menu, this place offers a wide vatiety of sweets and cakes. I bet some of them you've never heard of. I recommend their Brazo de Mercedes for it melts in your mouth with the right amount of sweetness :)

My sister and I love this place. They have a wide selection of desserts that taste great! Their desserts also come with free coffee which makes it even more sulit. I've also tried their pasta and it's pretty okay. Great service even though it seems understaffed.

Foods are good, but their staffs are not. They are not smiling neither approachable. They should train their people well for them to have a loyal customer.

The experience here was very memorable for me. Not only because my boyfriend and I celebrated our post-monthsary here, but also our stay here was a totally unique experience.First of, with their menu. It is not a typical menu book or poster, but a tablet. All their products are stored in a soft-copy folder and are browsed through the tablet. It was fun for me but it was quite a hassle for my boyfriend because he has to go back and fourth as he chooses what he wants to order. What I love about it is I could see its actual form and how delectable it is through the pictures. We took about 10 minutes before we finalized what we want because we couldn't choose what we really want because we want to try all their promising dishes. We ordered the following:Smoked Salmon Sandwich with Mango Dill Dressing (Php 200.00)Chicken Pot Pie Pasta (Php 230.00)Chicken Ambrosia Salad (Php 150.00)Pistachio Sans Rival Mini Cake (Php 230.00)The food were quite pricey but were good for sharing. We were so full that we were not able to eat our dessert which was the Pistachio Sans Rival Mini Cake (Php 230.00) and ordered it for take-out instead. What I loved the most was the Smoked Salmon Sandwich because it tasted well with the vegetables and toasted bread. Moreover, the slices of salmon in the bread were generous though thinly cut. As compared to the Salmon Sushi I buy for Php 200++, Parvati's was more economical for me for apart from the salmon, I have extra bread and vegetables to eat. Overall, it was a healthy eat for me.

Their carbonara is really good, as well as the bolognese. Their desserts are from various "home-bakers". I first encountered Gigi's Custaroons here, and now they are all over the metro. The brazo bars are a must try, it's sort of like a frozen brazo de mercedes slice with nuts.

I took a stroll and decided to try their famous milk chocolate cake and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. The texture of the cake is smooth and not dry. Its like the whole cake is made out of milk chocolate! I eventually ate the whole cake all by myself, just the mini one of course. Super worth coming back! The place is good for dropping by and having a coffee and a slice of cake.

Try their frozen brazo! To die for! Super yummy! Will be back here and try their other desserts! I suggest that their staff knows whats the best in the store and hopefully they will smile more.
