Only here at Pancake House you will find one the best tasting pancake on earth, served neatly in your table.  My favorite is the 3 pcs Caramel Banana Walnut. And if i want a little heavy for my tummy,  Hot Roast Chicken special serve with taco, macaroni and ice tea is my choice. Must try the Martin Cinamon Toast topped with raisins and syrup taste even better with hot brewed coffee!

Pancake House is that go-to restaurant when you and your family or friends can't decide where to eat. They have a little bit of everything in the menu!Pan chicken is always a winner, of course, but they were offering new lunch sets when my aunt and I sat down for lunch, and so I tried the pork Vienna (you can get the pan chicken set too, or fish rolls). The lunch sets come with a glass of iced tea and a bowl of almondigas soup.I've never had a bowl of almondigas soup before (have I been living under a rock or what), but I liked it! Would order again. Pork Vienna was tasty as well: golden brown, crunchy, and the pork was soft. There was a citrusy sort of scent in it that I liked, and it was a generous serving too.I think Pancake House is undergoing a makeover of sorts nowadays, what with the new look of the logo, and remodeling of some of the stores. The staff were great as well (which was why I gave this a 4). I thought they were courteous, and they were prompt in filling glasses and orders. So it's safe to say Pancake House is still a good place to go fill your tummy!

I've only tried eating here once before and was fairly satisfied with the food and service. (Eastwood branch) We decided to try their special sets this time. Hamburger steak special set for me and Roast beef special set for my boyfriend. The roast beef set came with caesar salad and corn and carrots on the side while the hamburger steak set came with spaghetti and vegetables as well. They also come served with iced teas. If you want to taste a few dishes all at once, these special sets are the way to go, especially since they come with drinks already. Personally, I liked their hamburger steak, which was fairly flavorful and serving portion was bigger than I expected. The pasta was sort of disappointing. There was too little sauce for my preference and there was nothing special about it. The roast beef was kind of a let down as well. It was a little chewy and I didn't think the gravy helped with the flavor at all. Their caesar salad was delicious though. I would definitely try that again. For dessert, we ordered the three-piece chocolate marble pancakes. It was topped with a scoop of ice cream and peanut butter which I found weird for my taste. It was still enjoyable though I've tasted better pancakes before. Service and waiting time were okay. Nothing really worth commenting on. I just have to say that they served the pancakes first before the main dishes which meant that the ice cream was melting while we were still eating. To be fair, we did not request for the dessert to be served after we were done eating but I thought that they just automatically did that anyway or that they would ask us first. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I wouldn't be too excited to eat here again but it wasn't that bad either.

True to the blog review that I've read that Beef Tapa of Pancake house is on top 10 best beef tapas in the Metro. The ensalada that comes along with the beef tapa is heaven. And I requested for addition. The staff was so glad to give in to my request. Other orders with my companions House Specialty Set and Classic Pan 3 pcs Chicken. Kudos to Pancake!

Pancake House is the go-to place for good, homey food. I love pancake house personally but my recent visit was really disappointing. For a change I ordered their BLT and smoked golden tinapa. The tinapa was good just like the other tinapas offered at other decent restos. The most disappointing part was the BLT. The bread was hard and chewy. The bacon was overcooked. It was hard. The lettuce was certainly not fresh. It was not worth 199php.

So medyo late na din to. And will do a series of Pancake House reviews. Eto yung una.First off, siguro naman alam nyo na presyuhan dito. Medyo pricey pero worth it and sulit naman. Masarap yung fried chicken nila (which I always order) and yung beef roast din and of course yung dessert. Overall naman masasarap talaga ang food sa PH. Pero magkakatalo tayo sa service.Sorry, pero iba yung dating saken ng mga servers. They should smile more and dapat medyo approaching. Even the manager that time I visited, di masyado nakasmile. Medyo gloomy yung feeling mga bes, na parang may mga problema.I get it, if pagod na or may problema, sana di na lang ipakita o pahalata sa customer, kasi nakakaApekto sa overall experience. That's part of the trade sa food service industry.P.s.When i billed out, ayun, di inulit ni kuya kung magkano binigay ko. Naalala ko tuloy yung isang post sa fb. Haha. Medyo paranoid lang

One word, and I'll say it in Filipino..."tinipid". But before I explain, let me just say the good points. So I was upset with Max's Araneta Coliseum for forgetting my meal, so I transferred to Pancake House. Yes, I know they belong to the same group, but I was ravenous and that did not register at the time.Anyway, I ordered my usual: Spaghetti Club Special Set. One good thing was, the service. The staff double checked my order and proceeded to their POS. They served the soup and my iced tea. Just a few minutes after they served my main dish. I wish I took a photo though but I was so famished. I just thought, why does my meal seem so few. It was like a teeny tiny amount of pasta and the sandwiches didn't have that thickness. While I was eating, I was wondering, shouldn't my clubhouse have slices of eggs? I went and ate anyway. I was that hungry.Since I couldn't brush it off, I had to check their website and looked at a photo of their special set. I was thinking perhaps, these were cost cutting measures, or that the set didn't have an egg, but it did. The extra protein would have helped me feel full but since it didn't have it, I finished my meal hungry.I told the manager about this issue, that my sandwich lacked this protein rich ingredient. He checked with the kitchen and eventually apologized. He offered a discount which was really nice of him. He also wanted to offer me a pancake to make up for the meal but I graciously declined. The discount was enough, I wasn't really after anything. The manager did well on his part. So service wise this place was good. However, though I got a discount, the special set originally cost 272 pesos. Minus the 8% discount, I'm happy for the few pesos off. Very grateful. But for this price, and I'm a woman, and petite too, this meal didn't even reach 80% of my stomach's capacity. It was a pathetic 55%. For that amount, I wish I just dined in another place that gave more value for money. Anyway, minus the discount, the deduction covered the food cost of the egg.Service wins here. Taste of the food is ok. Price of the food... not good. I could have gotten something better elsewhere. They really scrimped on the ingredients of my meal.

Food - 4.5 /5I ordered golden tinapa and hot calamansi. The fish skin was crispy and the insides were not dry, the egg was perfectly cooked with the yolk the way I liked it to be and the mango salsa was very yummy which compliments the fish. The hot calamansi juice was made from fresh calamansi which is a bit sour that's why I added a pack of brown sugar.Service - 4/5Manager was the one that took my order. Very professional and courteous. The other staff was also friendly.Venue - 4/5Even though the restaurant is small, the place is not congested. The lighting and ventilation are also good.
