My family loves gyoza and although we ordered other dishes, this short review is only for their Osaka Osho Original Gyoza. After finishing the 12 pcs. order, here’s our consensus: the gyoza tasted too meaty - we were looking for the taste of the other components like the cabbage, ginger, etc. - that balance of meat and vegetables.

This second branch of modern Japanese, Osaka Ohsho continues to challenge Filipino tastebuds with a progressive take on Japanese cuisine. Months back, they launched Flying Noodles and another set of Gyoza varieties. Ready your camera as you order the three new noodles they have, as they all look like flying- Matcha Teriyaki Tonkotsu, Tempura & Squid Ink Soba and Carbonara like, Bacon & Cheese Somen. Clearly these three are playful yet creatively done. It’s a western take on the east! Gyozas, on the other hand, are leaner and filled with different savory meats. They got the lingering tasty Truffle, smoky Chorizo and Bacon & Cheese. Don’t forget to dip these in their own version of vinegar. My sister also shared here their sweet Sukiyaki Bowl for two, with loads of tender meats. A Fuwatoro set capped our gastronomic night. This feast worth Php 695 has 3 pieces of Ebi Tempura with mashed potatoes; Original Gyoza, 6 pieces; two miso soups and two plates of fresh fruits. It was a complete bite for two hungry souls. Osaka Ohsho deserves your audience if you like similar concepts like Ooma. They specialize also on Donburi and other Japanese favorites.

Disgusted by the food smell and service.remember the name Jawara.a waitress on this restaurant.it was my mother's birthday April 7 booked thru eatigo at 7pm for 10people. I have no idea why this Jawara is staring at us with such disgust. its as if we were trash sitting in their restaurant. we had a meager 10% discount on our meal. I didnt expect that would earn us such treatment. next would be the way she treated us. she approached and didnt want to take our orders. for some unknown reasons it was 7:25 they said we were only allowed to order between 7:00-7:30 and she kept lookong at her watch. and her look stayed disgusted. next my mom asked for a simple bowl for the smelly pancit. she tossed it at the edge of the table and I am not overreacting. we heard it across the table and my mom's expression was disappointed. so we decided to stop eating the Well presented pieces of smelly food. no joke, just try to smell their food and you'll know they put something on it because you guys have a 10%discount (hopefully not true). I approached jawara in a calm manner and asked if she was a manager on the restaurant. because she bosses around other employees and I witnessed she raised her voice to another woman. she said no she is a waitress with the same look on her face from the moment we presented our eatigo booking and then while I was speaking about her manners she walked out. I wanted to call the manager but was courteous enough to not make a scene.I have gone thru a lot of restaurants with bad service. but this I cannot pass. foodwise nothing special. just instagramable pieces of you know what. and again the smell.would not recommend.

Before i tried Nadai Fujisoba, I always dined in Osaka Osho. I just love their tonkatsu!! But i noticed that it hasnt been the same as before which prompted me to try NF.But their food is great. However I find their price a little steep compared to the quality of food they serve.

This review is for their new offering, the flying noodles. We tried their matcha flying noodles and it was actually so-so for me. Presentation-wise, hands down it was perfect, Instagram worthy. Taste-wise? Not so much. It’s actually a tsukemen type of noodles, which means it comes with a dipping soup/sauce. For this particular one we tried, the dipping sauce it seemed was mushroom soup, but it tasted a lot like the canned ones. The noodles itself, except for it’s green, you don’t taste the matcha at all. Dipping it into the sauce doesn’t even help. It became more tolerable when it was dipped in the tempura sauce. So yes, A for effort on the presentation, but it needs to improve on the taste.

Osaka Ohsho dubbed as “The King of Gyoza in Osaka” is currently experimenting with their menu. The place boasts a casual dining ambiance and cozy Japanese-themed decorations. We've tried their new offering, the 'Flying Noodles' and It's definitely a feast for the eyes! They’re basically cold soba (except for one which is somen) with dipping sauces. There are three kinds of this and we got to try two of it. We didn't choose the 'Matcha Teriyaki Tonkotsu' variant because it seems too adventurous for us. The 'Tempura and Squid Ink Soba' is their best-seller in the trio. The squid ink is strong and adds the right amount of saltiness to the soba (buckwheat flour noodles). The prawn tempura and kani strips were so-so for me, nothing special about it. Being a fan of cheese ever since, I really liked the 'Bacon and Cheese Somen'. It's what I'll probably call a Japanese version of carbonara using somen (thin wheat flour noodles). The rice noodle is chewy in texture but a little bit airy and has no flavor on its own. I liked the creamy and thick cheese sauce that comes with it, it's like eating tsukemen since you have to dip the noodle in the sauce. The salmon cheese aburi is really tasty, complementing the tastelessness of the noodle. It's garnished with fried mushrooms, crispy bacon pieces and fried strips of egg.For drinks we had their 'Apple Lychee Soda' and 'Fresh Mango Yakult'. The apple lychee is refreshing and actually good, while the mango yakult didn't give me the enough yakult taste, it's like drinking plain mango shake!Overall, the presentation was really instagrammable, no doubt about it. Hopefully, they will improve the taste of all the sauce used. It's not something I'll crave for, but I will try more variants of their gyoza next time.

Food was good. I loved their flying noodles!!! The chicken teriyaki and the mushroom tempura that came with it was absolutely delicious! Place is a bit small, very modern. The order took a bit long to come but it was worth it.

A must try is their truffle gyoza which packs a punch in terms of flavor. This is really unlike any gyoza that I’ve tasted. We also tried their flying noodles which is not something we would come back for.
