Very satisfying for your late night takoyaki craves. Though the texture seems like overcooked because its too soft, the taste is still flavorful. There are real chewy octopus bits unlike those that we usually have at malls. Oops! The pork tonkatsu is also a must try 😉

If you are looking for okonomiyaki and takoyaki this is one of the places to go because of the variety of flavor. Has a good chill vibe outside also if you are looking for somewhere to drink.

I had their takoyaki and okonomiyaki and they were both good. The takoyaki is better than the okonomiyaki. The okonomiyaki is very heavy in the stomach and can get very “umay” after having 2 slices.

I got dissapointed when I first came here because the takoyaki is mostly made of flour as if nothing else is in there plus the sashimi we’re thinly cut. But I still gave it another chance. I went there for a second time around and got more dissaponted. They served the food after 25 minutes and the sashimis were sliced even more thinly than last time and I complained. The waiter said they ran out of salmon sashimi. I hoped she told me first so that i dont have to order it huhu I’m sorry but this is on my “ X” list already. Will not come back. 😞

"Takoyaki with Milk Tea Combo Package"Approximately 5 minutes after placing my order, I was informed that Milk Tea wasn't available. This was okay but just a heads-up to the management team that this may not be cool for other customers.Every visit, they always serve excellent Takoyaki despite the consistently 'slightly' long waiting time. As I pressed the fork downwards on all six pieces, I heard the crunch of the outer coating. Filling was soft, hot, and generously filled with bits of octopus. Japanese mayonnaise is stellar!

Our neighborhood boasts of restaurants and cafes in every corner and my brother excitedly brought me to a snack-joint looking place for dinner. Turns out this place packs a lot of punch! It’s VERY affordable and surprisingly delicious 😋! Imagine my big brother got:Combo Meal p150 gets you a hefty flavorful bowl of Beef Ramen + 6pc Takoyaki + big glass of Milk Tea over ice.Mine is a Chasu Ramen at p200 and I can say it can be worth triple and I wouldn’t care! The pork portions were thick and big, ramen al dente enough and the broth tastes like it was boiled for the last 10hours!Definitely will be back!

Their takoyaki tastes good but I find it overcooked. Not the best but definitely not the worst. Good thing it has real octopus unlike most takoyaki joints or restos i've been to. However, the takoyaki sauce is too sweet and just drizzled a little so when I ate half of the takoyaki, I don't have any more sauce on the other half. We also ordered katsudon and chicken teriyaki and both are somewhat lacking in flavor. Also, it was not served with Japanese rice given its price.

I only came to love Japanese food a couple of years back, and before I used to really hate takoyaki because I was given a bad batch. My boyfriend and I only tried Octoboy last month and we got hooked right on the spot! They're big, packed, and super delicious. The additional Php20.00 for the bonito flakes are well worth it. We really don't mind the price at this point (it's not that expensive anyway) because they taste so good. If you're looking to try a new takoyaki place, pay Octoboy a visit and you won't be disappointed.
