REALLY GOOD!! I was sad that I wasn't able to try this in Korea but I'm so glad that someone finally decided to open up a Korean Dessert cafe! We tried the chocolate, green tea and cheese. We liked chocolate the best because it wasn't too sweet but still very chocolatey. The cheese has a nice subtle milky cheesy flavor to it. The green tea was also great but the taste was too strong for us.

We tried their bingsu and cafe mocha, I would say it is definitely good. I find their menu a little bit pricey for a student like me, but it's worth it. The place is nice and good for food grammers.

Korean bingsu is becoming a fad now and I am very happy! Nothing beats a good bowl of shaven ice with mango toppings on a very hot day! This branch in Katipunan serves fresh Melon Flavored ones as well as the other usual flavors. Was able to try Mango, Coffee, Oreo, Cheese and Melon. Cheese was lacking in flavor for me. Oreo -- i liked it because of the Oreos. What's not to like?? Haha coffee was okay, its ice was flavored like coffee. Mango was pretty nice but it was lacking in fresh mango bits.

Noonsaram (which is Korean for snowman) happened to be one of the few shops open on a Good Friday. Perfect as today, like any other summer day the past few weeks, was sweltering humidly hot!!!Ironically, G ordered the Tteokbokki (spicy Korean rice cake) which he got addicted to after I had introduced it to him years ago. The rest of us got either cold drinks, plus their shaved ice desserts - we chose the Mango Bingsu, Injeolmi Bingsu (which had rice cakes and a nutty topping), and Oreo Bingsu. The ice was milky and melt-in-your-mouth - perfect to cool down on a summer day! Taste-wise, we have tried better shaved ice desserts elsewhere, but Noonsaram’s were enough to satisfy our cool cravings then.
