I was simply amazed with this place. So I booked a table using the app and expected to be placed in a normal table but woah they placed us in a vip room even we were only 3 people. The service here and the food is amazing. Some of the things we ordered were the salmon sashimi the serving size was huge and it was so delicious. We also ordered the shrimp tempura which tasted amazing it was the best tempura I had. The service here is very fast you just press a button and they go to you ka agad. The atmosphere of the room was good as well kaso naririnig mo yung mga boses sa kabilang rooms din. But overall this just might be one of the best japanese restos in metro manila. 10/10 will visit again.

The first time I ate here I was utterly impressed that but after every return the quality of the restaurant continued to decrease. 😕🙃 The only dish that is still of great quality is the UNI TAMAGO. I DO NOT RECOMMEND any of The YAKINIKU.

We got a reservation through this app and it was very convenient. We even got a VIP room.Service is prompt. For the food, we ordered their 5 part mori, gyoza, ebi tempura maki, katsudon, omu rice, and oyakudon. What I love was that the servings were huge, justifying the prices. The worst of these was the oyakudon; it was just bland and lacked flavor. The katsudon was good and tasty. The omu rice was huge but could use a little more flavor. For the sushi, the salmon and tuna sashimi were amazing. The uni didn't feel very fresh, though, and had that sea-like aftertaste. Ebi tempura maki was very delicious, and so was the gyoza. The place was nice but could use a little cleaning in some parts. Overall, it's okay especially for sushi lovers, but don't expect anything too special with their dons (rice bowls).

FOODFORTHOUGHT:🍉Ume bentoIf I want authentic japanese food and quality sashimi on a budget, this place never disappoints. The menu is extensive. No fusion cuisine here, just the no frills authentic jap food goodness. The Ume bento has a little of everything in the menu, sashimi, salmon, teriyaki, miso soup, except the termpura. Their unagi and teppanyaki are legit too!The quality is way above the mamy jap restau for the same price range and comparable to some high end jap restaus in town. But of course, fairly enough, it still doesnt make the cut as a premium jap restau in Manila.REALFEELS: Traditional jap restau interiors that gives you a feel of more comfortable dining than what you are paying for.PURSEPOWER: For the quality of food and ambiance, this is the real deal! Cheap is relative but this one give a real value for money jap dining experience.BROWNIEPOINTS: Order the bento to try out a number of dishes in the menu in one hefty serving for a fraction of the price.

Very good traditional Japanese resto. Priced fairly. Faves are the Spicy Salmon and Spicy Toro maki. Truly a must. Tempura was good. I did notice that serving size is slightly smaller than the Arnaiz branch (I noticed the difference with the makis). But overall, a very good dining experience! Will definitely be back again!

worst service ever. when the waitress was serving our tempura. she dropped one on the table and picked it up with her hands back to the plate.. also our tonkatsu took 1hr for them to serve.. and the waitress doesn't seem to be apologetic about the delay. the food is quite good but the service? worst.

The place looked good from the outside and ambiance is ok. We were even given a VIP room. The server set the table and gave us hot tea promptly, then she left and closed the door behind her without looking whether she gave us the menu or not. Since it was our first time there we didn't see the button to call and had to fetch the server and ask for the menu after several minutes. The Salmon and Tuna Sashimi were fresh and thick... sure to satisfy your craving. The Ankake Ramen was disappointing though... first time to eat a ramen without broth... it felt like we were eating a japanese version of some pancit wtih chopsuey-like toppings. The Unagi Oshizusi tasted good except there was too much rice and not too enough Unagi. We also ordered the Spicy Tuna Sashimi, and to me the sauce was a little overwhelming. Lastly, my boyfriend saw a rodent crossing by their wooden shelves outside the VIP rooms. A little concerning in my opinion. Its sad cause I heard good feedback from friends about this restaurant... maybe I just ordered the wrong dishes or maybe I'll try the Makati branches next time...

Good food, TERRIBLE SERVICE.Food is good and reasonably priced. I recommend the bento sets since they're really a bang for your buck, and their famous spicy tuna roll. But their staff are really slow, unresponsive, and incompetent in explaining menu items (especially since their menu doesn't describe the dishes). They also failed to punch in an additional order my friend made.I'm really wishing that they'll improve the management of the restaurant because I always end up leaving in a bad mood because of the servers.
