Second Review: April 2018 - 4/5Last Thursday, Josh invited me and V to watch Avengers: Infinity War with him. We decided to catch the last full show in SM North Edsa at 9PM. Before watching, Josh and I had dinner at Nadai Fujisoba, as we wanted to eat somewhere at The Block (near the cinema we were going to watch in).I remember visiting this branch and having something else from my usual order of Niku Fuji Soba, and was not quite happy with what I got. 😢 So I vowed to myself that when I get to visit again, I'll just stick with my usual order -- so I won't get disappointed again. When we got there, we were promptly seated. I asked the server how long it will take before our food is served, since we were time pressed and needed to be upstairs before 9PM. She said food will be served in around 15 minutes, and that was good enough for us. 😉✅ NIKU FUJI SOBA (Php 280) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This is my all-time favorite! 💜💜💜 I love how firm the noodles are, and how flavorful the piping hot soup is. 😍 The thinly sliced beef are tender and tasty, and of course, the egg is cooked perfectly!!! One of the best budget noodle soups I've had to date. 😉 I will never get tired of this dish, ever!Service in this branch was okay. Though, I was surprised that their hot tea now costs 30 pesos. I think it used to be free? Like siners have an option to get the hot or cold service tea. 😞 I'm quite sad about this part.#EatDrinkSplurge--------First Review: January 2018 - 3/5I always look forward to the moments I get to spend with my college friends, because some are based in faraway places, and only get to visit Manila during certain occasions. This time, I had the chance to have a quick dinner + catch up with G, one of my friends when I was still in eng'g. 😊He works in the province now because of the field he is in, so when he got to visit during the past holiday season, I immediately agreed when he invited me for dinner. We met up at SM North Edsa, my usual meet-up place when I have dinner with people on a weekday. We walked around The Block, and eventually decided to eat at Nadai Fujisoba. I've always ordered their Niku Fuji Soba, because it's so good! I never got anything else, until that night... I saw an insert in their menu re: their new dishes, which consisted of: Buta Kimuchi (Pork Belly) Soba / Udon, Tori Niku (Stewed Chicken) Soba / Udon, and Salmon Harasu Don. Being the curious website that I am, I decided to veer away from my usuals to give one of these a chance:✅ TORI NIKU SOBA (Php 280) - ⭐⭐⭐I was initially leaning towards getting the Buta Kimuchi Soba, but the server said this one's better. 😁 I think they use a generic signature broth for their noodles, as the soup had the same taste with their Niku Fuji Soba. The stewed chicken was juicy, though it lacked flavor... Like the taste didn't penetrate into the meat. 😕 The noodles were slightly overcooked as well, so it was a bit soggy. My favorite part though? The half boiled egg it was served with! I still love my Niku Fuji Soba more... And will just get that again when I come back. 😁On the other hand, G got the Salmon Harasu Don (Php 280). According to him, the salmon was a bit burnt, and the mayonnaise was slightly overwhelming. 😣Service was good and quick. It was easy to call the attention of the servers. 👌 The ambiance was okay, the restaurant was well-lit and had a cheery Japanese casual restaurant feel to it. I would definitely come back for their Niku Fuji Soba -- one of the most affordable Japanese noodle soup dish there is. 😉#EatDrinkSplurge

Let me begin with the positive comments. If you are looking for a not-so-crowded and not-so noisy place to dine in at sm north then this place is perfectly just for you! Moreover, the restaurant was very clean and staffs are friendly and polite. When the foods arrived I am just so excited to taste everything since japanese foods are simply delectable! We ordered oyako don, gyu don, ebi ten udon, sobacha pudding and matcha ice cream. At first you would say that they have big portions but to my dismay, the rice meals have less meat and so much rice that I wasn't able to finish the rice. I am using discount coupons from metrodeal by the way. The udon was cold and its soup is not that hot. But anyways, they have a really, really tasteful matcha ice cream! Matcha lovers would definitely appreciate it! Lastly, I did not enjoy the sobacha pudding.😕 It appeared and tasted like a tasteless maja de blanca with little cream and milk.

I was amazed with their ambiance. Japanese food in a casual setting. The staff greeted us in a professional but friendly manner. The Supervisor who took our order is very knowledgable and even provided us with suggestions on what to order as it was our first time to dine there. We ordered Niku Fuji Soba, Ebi Ten Don and Salmon Hirasu Don and it didn't disappoint us. Everything we ordered was very good. The service is fast and efficient. Most of all, the prices are very reasonable. A Must Try!!

all in all, I personally do not like it there. The price for the food was not affordable. its price was set up a bit to high since the taste was not something exquisite. The service was abit annoying because I asked for iced cold water but instead they gave me warm water. On the condiments part on every table , you would be able to see that there is a container with fried tempura breadings, it was disappointing since the texture was "makunat" and when I asked for a replacement the waiter told me that they would reolace it right away but it never happened

Super satisfied not just because of their affordable menu, but also, because they served soba in this place which is rare here in the Philippines. It taste like home 🤗
