Their food is just fine. Well the Sushi is good, and it should be because 5-6 pieces of sushi would be around P350 so it should taste great. Crispy Shrimps have a balanced taste and i like it but i think it's overpriced because its only 5 pieces of them. They should fixed their air conditioning because customer deserves it as we are paying your expensive foods! And this restaurant should not be used putting a lot of sugar so their fruit shakes would taste great... because its not working!

I liked the food here. Not that expensive compared to other japanese restaurants. My bestfriend is a picky eater, and doesnt like sour salad dressings, but he loooved the salad. I personally liked the wasabi mayo dressing.I also like the bacon kani! Or was it kani bacon? Haha either way it was good, but tasted a little salty.Ambiance was great! They have fancy pictures up in the walls and ceiling. The servers were polite and very attentive to our needs. Over all we had a great dining experience at Mr. kurosawa.

We had a really good experience at Mr. Kurosawa. Not only was the place inviting, the servers too were really attentive and accommodating of our needs with contributed to our overall dining experience. We ordered the Big Star Salad, Steamed Pork Gyoza, Oyster Overload, Tempura Roll, Chicken Teriyaki, Bacon Kani, Bacon Dory, Ebi Tempura, and a Bowl of Japanese Fried Rice --- all of which were cooked just right and tasted even better. Price wise, the restaurant is affordable and the dishes are good for sharing. Definitely a good place to go back to for a good meal with friends and family.

A different take on Japanese food & still able to keep its authentic flavors. Sashimi depends only on freshness but sushi, can be prepared many ways wc this resto has an edge.

We were never fans of Japanese food, but for some reason, we enjoyed Mr. Kurosawa! I think there is not a month that we do not dine here. What we like about Kurosawa is that they offer a wide variety of meals: salad, maki, burgers, soup, pasta, pizza, rice meals, steak, etc. There's so much to choose from!Aside from the very good and affordable dishes on their menu list, what attracts us to keep coming back is their very friendly and knowledgeable staff and the comfy feel of the place. An interesting fact about Mr. Kurosawa is that their staff use Japanese names, to align with the Japanese feel. This we noticed when we asked for a staff's name for commendation purposes. When in Eastwood City (or Resorts World), Mr. Kurosawa is definitely a go to place to dine! Our favorite so far!vChicken Teriyaki SaladThe deliciously grilled chicken added flavor to this already flavorful salad. Another one to add to our salads list! I must say, next to Roka Salata, this is our next favorite. As a matter of fact, we could not remember the number of times we ordered this. Big Star SaladSince we are both salad fans, we just had to try this. A generous serving of greens with mangoes, shrimps, caramelized walnuts in a balsamic based vinaigrette. Very refreshing! This goes to our list of Kurosawa favorites! California Maki with Avocado SaladThis one we tried out of curiosity when we saw it as something new from their menu list. Unfortunately, this one did not meet our expectations :( We felt it was lacking in flavor - maybe because it's part of the healthy options :) Honestly, would not have this again.Happy Birthday NoodlesThis one caught our attention because of its name. Not sure why its called such...maybe we should ask next time. Satisfied...happy tummies!Beef Niku UdonNot so satisfied with this. The sauce is good but felt that the squid was a little too crunchy - hard crunchy...more like a "pulutan" - we think :)First time to try a noodle soup from Kurosawa and we were not disappointed at all. This soup bowl which we think serves 2-3 people, is sooo full of flavor. Tempura UdonWe had wanted to order Tempura but decided to try this instead. Nothing special about this. We should have ordered just the plain Tempura.Akira Sesame ChickenWe highly recommend this dish. We both have low tolerance for spicy food but this was oh sooo worth the sniffs and sweat ;) We will order this on our next Mr. Kurosawa date for sure ♥ Crunchy Squid TeriyakiNot so satisfied with this. The sauce is good but felt that the squid was a little too crunchy - hard crunchy...more like a "pulutan" - we think :)Ginza KalamariTypical calamari, only this is served with 3 different kinds of dips, one of which is wasabe based - which of course we did not even touch! Nothing special about this appetizer :(Tofu SteakA delicious serving of tofu steak with minced pork, mushrooms, carrots. etc. Worth the try!

What will initially attract prospective diners is the promising western-japanese fusion menu. What will ultimately stop them from coming back are the uncompetitive price points as well as a failure to execute. While there are some standout items like the Salmon Wasabi and the Scallop Fried Rice, there is a distinct lack of freshness with many of the other offerings. The Bacon Dory was dry and cold with the grease from the bacon concealing onto the plate. The Chicken Tempura and Fries just felt reheated. This is especially bad since one of the main draws of Japanese cuisine is the freshness of the food. For the price of a meal for two in Kurosawa, take your date to Sugi instead. She will also appreciate the fact that the aircon there actually works.

Favourites:Amazing Kani RollsChicken Teriyaki Waldorf PizzaThe only thing I don't like in this place is that it's too crowded. Well, it is popular so you can't helped that. But I wish there were more spaces between tables and a more relaxed environment.Given that little fault I stated above, this is still definitely one of my Top Restaurants! They have a great selection of Sushi and Sashimi, Barbeques, Pizza and Pasta, Don Buri and Bentos. Their "Amazing Kani Rolls" is a must try! You really have to say "Amazing", otherwise you might get their regular Kani Rolls, seriously. It happened to me once, but still the regular Kani Rolls where better than most. But the main reason I go here for is the greatest pizza I've ever tasted -- ever tasted yet. Feel free to invent even better pizzas for our satisfaction! This is the Chicken Teriyaki Waldorf Pizza. I can close my eyes and still remember how it looks like. But mostly I just go there to feast my senses with this little piece of goodness. Yes. Little. The serving size of this is little compared to the usual fare but it definitely makes up for the taste. For pineapple haters out there like me, do not be disheartened in trying this out. I don't really know how they did it but they removed everything I hate in a pineapple and turned it into something useful that completes this wonderful gift to mankind.

My friend and I had a light dinner at Mr. Kurosawa last week. We shared a Chicken Teriyaki Salad (Php 228) and Four Cheese Yamamoto (Php 328). The Chicken Teriyaki Salad is good for sharing, the dressing was delicious, but nothing special. The Four Cheese Yamamoto is their version of Quattro Formaggi with Pesto. The pizza tends to be a little greasy, but I like the crust. The place is recommended for meetings or quiet gatherings. The food was okay, just a bit too expensive for its quality.

The best thing about Mr. Kurosawa in libis is that they will make you the wonderful crunchy tuna roll that's on the menu at their sister restaurant. It's the best thing not on the menu, all you need to do is ask. However, though the food is good the air conditioning never seems to be working, and I constantly feel bad for the waitresses having to wear dresses that barely cover their butt. I am sure the owners thought it would be a good idea, but it just comes off as wrong and rather inappropriate. The sushi is always good and the sashimi is super fresh. My personal favourite is the spicy tuna salad, for lunch their is nothing better. Other standouts are the crunchy kani roll, and the crispy shrimp that taste so good that you will be disappointed that their are only 5 of them. The tri color iced tea needs major work though as they all taste like sugar and nothing else.
