I tried to eat here multiple times thinking that my first experience was just a special case but for 4 times, I can say that their food is not that good. Noodle soup is bland and the meat is cold. Baked rice is too savory that it is a challenge to finish it alone. At least their hot tea is decent for all the times I've been here.Watch my full review at youtube.com/JustifySpeaks

At first I thought the food at Mr. Choi was expensive so I didn’t bother to eat there but I was wrong and the food really tastes good here!! :) We ordered the ff: ⭐️ Food 5/5 (I love Chinese soo u can’t blame me) - Dimsum Platter 5/5 If you’re the type who can’t decide what dimsum to eat this is a MUST for you. - Salt and Pepper Squid 5/5YAZZ, I love their “suka” - Yang Chow 5/5Just your typical rice.⭐️ Ambiance 3/5

The place is nice and quiet. There's a wide variety of entrees from platters to combo meals, at budget friendly prices. Their food are good and delicious. The Chicken Feet with Toasi are one of my favorites as well as the Beef with Broccoli and the Yang Chow Fried Rice.Their service is quick. Servers are nice and friendly.

We ordered their baked porkchop rice and raddish cake in xo sauce and we liked it. The baked porkchop rice is huge and is already good for two although there is much more rice than the meat, you'd still be able to finish the dish as it is also succulent with the tomato sauce. Rice was yang chow fried rice and it balanced well with the sauce and the meat. I liked this. As for the raddish cake in xo sauce, we also like this dish, the xo sauce added flavor to the usual typical raddish cake.

Always been a fan of Mr. Choi since it opened in Rob Galleria and then re-opened beside Kenny Roger’s. Their siomai is one of our fave. So far the hot and sour soup is okay but my Pork Congee was a sad story. Not sure why it looked like a lot of hot water was poured in it to make it look okay but it didn’t do the trick. Ended up not finishing it. We may have arrived 1 hour to closing time but the meals shouldn’t be served without quality. I like the old Mr. Choi way better. Will change my review once I get a better experience on my next visit. 👍

I stopped by here during our seminar break, my fiancee had tokyo tokyo but I wasn't feeling it so I walked across to Mr Choi. I ordered siomai and hakaw to go they said it'd only take a few minutes but it didn't I waited for a while! You would expect dumplings to be quite quick right like anywhere else specially during lunch. My guess is that they could have been frozen and hence it took them a while to steam/defrost :| I went for a walk to check out the supermarket, came back and still weren't done! What I found annoying was that I waited out front for my take out and about 6 people kept coming up to me to tell me to sit down. I've been sitting down all day and they kept telling me to sit down... this just aggrovated me more because I knew the food would be longer. Finally it arrived and I went back to eat it with my fiancee. The siomai was not bad pretty tasty so worth the wait. The hakaw on the other had were bland, pastey and rubbery... not good at all! To make it worse they were.quite expensive for what they were. 145PHP per serve!! Man there's a master siomai next to the supermarket, they have siomai for 28PHP you get the same effect here. Or take a cab down the road to mega mall for the same price and wait time as Mr Choi you can get michellin starred dumplings at Tim Ho Wan!! Get their pork buns!

Hmmm where will I start? Food here is good. The flavor is so Chinese and the place achieved the Chinese theme. But the taste of the food will not compensate for what I am about to say next. Service here is a bit slow. Looking at the number of staff they have. I think there's enough manpower to handle the crowd. I had to ask for tissue and water twice. The serving of food was twenty minutes? That was ok if they informed us ahead of time that it will take that long for them to prepare the food. Serving and value for what we paid for is questionable. We ordered fookien rice and asked for how many pax is one order. The waiter said two to three pax. When the rice arrived, it was only good for one pax I swear! We ended up ordering two extra plain rice to enjoy our meal. We ordered the dimsum sampler worth 300 plus pesos. And the waiter again said it has 14 pc's. Of dimsum. Serving arrived and it was only good for two pax. Very sad experience.

We went here because i was craving for a chinese food and it was our first time to eat here... probably our last. Service is good, only 3 tables were occupied during our visit and it was a Saturday lunch time.We didn't like the food though. We ordered for a full yangchow fried rice, beef tenderloin cooked chinese way, and fried spring rolls. Honestly, i would prefer eating at chowking than here. They just have the ambiance and chowking has great foods. Anyways... been here... done that.... haha

Same old taste, new innovations. But during the time we were there, the aircon units aren't working so we ate outside. I love the pancit, turmeric beef, sweet and sour pork and our favorite hot and cold cuts which has generous amounts of jellyfish and century eggs! They also sell crispy fried fish skins and it's really tasty and healthier than the usual chicharon

Dim lights created a very relaxing ambiance. As you enter their restaurant.. You'll smell the aroma of chinese cuisine being cooked. We ordered, Beef Brisket and Wanton Noodle Soup (Php195) | Because I wanted more soup (I always want more soup!), I requested that we get an order of noodle soup. I liked the beef because it was tender and had the perfect amount of fat that I like (which is not too much). The wanton was OK as well but the noodles tasted a bit plastic-y for me. It was fine anyway because I was just after the soup originally.Mr. Choi Dimsum Combination (Php305) |  It is blasphemous to dine in a Chinese restaurant and not order any type of dimsum. We take it up a notch higher by ordering a platter of varied dimsums to satisfy the equally varied cravings. I always zoom in first on the hakaw (shrimp dumpling) and go to the nori wrapped siu mai next. The rest are good as well, but these two are on the top of my list.Lastly, our hot prawn salad.. The prawns was good. They mixed fruit cocktail instead of slicing fresh fruits individually. Fruits appeared mushy and that's why we didn't bother to eat it and just leave it there...
