I tried to eat here multiple times thinking that my first experience was just a special case but for 4 times, I can say that their food is not that good. Noodle soup is bland and the meat is cold. Baked rice is too savory that it is a challenge to finish it alone. At least their hot tea is decent for all the times I've been here.Watch my full review at youtube.com/JustifySpeaks

At first I thought the food at Mr. Choi was expensive so I didn’t bother to eat there but I was wrong and the food really tastes good here!! :) We ordered the ff: ⭐️ Food 5/5 (I love Chinese soo u can’t blame me) - Dimsum Platter 5/5 If you’re the type who can’t decide what dimsum to eat this is a MUST for you. - Salt and Pepper Squid 5/5YAZZ, I love their “suka” - Yang Chow 5/5Just your typical rice.⭐️ Ambiance 3/5

The place is nice and quiet. There's a wide variety of entrees from platters to combo meals, at budget friendly prices. Their food are good and delicious. The Chicken Feet with Toasi are one of my favorites as well as the Beef with Broccoli and the Yang Chow Fried Rice.Their service is quick. Servers are nice and friendly.

We ordered their baked porkchop rice and raddish cake in xo sauce and we liked it. The baked porkchop rice is huge and is already good for two although there is much more rice than the meat, you'd still be able to finish the dish as it is also succulent with the tomato sauce. Rice was yang chow fried rice and it balanced well with the sauce and the meat. I liked this. As for the raddish cake in xo sauce, we also like this dish, the xo sauce added flavor to the usual typical raddish cake.

Always been a fan of Mr. Choi since it opened in Rob Galleria and then re-opened beside Kenny Roger’s. Their siomai is one of our fave. So far the hot and sour soup is okay but my Pork Congee was a sad story. Not sure why it looked like a lot of hot water was poured in it to make it look okay but it didn’t do the trick. Ended up not finishing it. We may have arrived 1 hour to closing time but the meals shouldn’t be served without quality. I like the old Mr. Choi way better. Will change my review once I get a better experience on my next visit. 👍
