MORITA RESTAURANT SERVES SOME SOME OF THE FRESHEST SUSHI IN THE METROPOLIS; AND YOU CAN EVEN DANCE HERE TOO!. website and Cruising Magazine held an event at Morita Restaurant to mark the 14th installment of their year-long food tasting caravan, celebrating the 16th year of Cruising Magazine. The group had the opportunity to sample a sashimi sampler and teppenyaki beef.

My family and I tasted several dishes mainly on the selection of the maki-s and main courses. It was not as good as what I expected it to be. I'll start of by describing Unagi Bon Maki, it was worth more than 500 pesos for 5 pcs but the taste was ordinary I have tasted better ones and the mango was too ripe. The crazy maki was too plain and cold when it was served, the crunchiness of the maki was not felt because it was cold. Moving on to the main courses we got a bowl of Japanese rice with Tempura. The tempura was perfectly cooked but once you dip it in the sauce everything changes, it's too salty which didn't match the Japanese rice. Lastly, the Katsudon's meat was too hard. My teeth can't even slice a small piece. The food was not good but the live band was incredible!! I would go back for the live band only.

Decent Japanese food but not really impressed with it...I've heard a lot of good feedbacks from this resto that is why I really pushed to come here even if its already late. Food is so-so. I could get better Japanese food at a lesser price...

Pricey.... but authentic japanese. Its worth it. The salmon sashimi is awesome.. I will recommend this restaurant. The Bento box is very worth it. A full set meal. Will really leave you full.

We ate here for my mother's birthday last Thursday. And the place was packed; reservations is necessary. We ordered 3 set meals for 5 people mostly. We really liked the salmon compared to the tuna sashimi, makes it feel like it's just melting in our mouth. We also had normal california maki, crazy maki, and we ordered dragon roll which was a bit spicy. There were birthday noodles and yakiudon, as well as tempura, gyoza, chicken karaage, stir fried chicken, and my parents liked the salmon head. Generally, the food tasted delicious and authentic. It was a bit expensive when ordered ala carte. It was fun because there was a band playing 60s songs, so my parents were dancing... Actually my sister noted a lot of senior citizens when she entered haha
