Millie's All-Day Dining will be added to my Under The Radar Good Eats List. The restaurant caters to not just the walk-in restaurant guests but also to all of Microtel UP Technohub's in-room dining and banquet services. Millie's may be known for their international cuisine offerings such as their Prawns Thermidore, Grilled Marlin with Tropical Salsa, and Baby Back Ribs but they also offer Filipino food staples such as the Tinola, Sinigang, Adobo, Crispy Pata, etc all good for sharing for prices ranging from P300-P400. China highly recommends the following from Millie's Menu:•Burrata Caprese P550 (Really, really good Burrata cheese imported from Italy)•Seafood Marinara P310•Hainanese Chicken P350 (Even though they don't actually specialize in Singaporean cooking, this was actually pretty good)•Artisan Gelato Siling Labuyo & Orange Swits P220 (A Bicolano website with me commented this was way better than the ones in Albay)•Artisan Gelato Straciatella P220•Mango Graham Smoothie P160 (Really good Mango Shake with Cheesecake, Whipped Cream, and Wafer Sticks.

Millie's All-Day Dining is a hidden gem inside UP Technohub that caters to both local and international tongue. They focused their food on western and local tastes, inspired by the chef's food adventures, without being sidetracked from it's true taste. We tried out their pasta, fish dishes, and ribs and all of them were really good. Well seasoned dishes, pasta was al dente, all merited for a wonderful dining experience. Not also to dismiss their gelato and its very adventurous flavors that will tickle your curiosity. It's a highly notable place where you could bring someone special over for a meal.

Located at the edge of UP Diliman's Technohub, at Microtel, it is surprising that the BPO foodies have not discovered Millie's All Day Dining yet. While the inside looks rather generic, the food is anything but. The ones we tasted were well made and tasted the way they should be - classic and on point. Where most restaurants go for fusion cuisine or have adapted their flavors for the market, Millie's food stays true to the dishes' roots. To start, the pumpkin soup was creamy and you could tell that no extenders were used. The best dish we had and Millie's hidden jewel is the Burrata Caprese, usually made with cheese (the burrata - made with mozzarella and cream), tomatoes, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Millie's best seller is their baby back ribs (half slab) and it's easy to see why. The ribs are tender and seasoned just right. The Hainanese chicken was also tender with the sauces enhancing its flavors. Millie's also has really good seafood dishes - al dente seafood marinara, nicely-seasoned pan seared blue marlin and salmon, great not just for Holy Week but for summer. They also have really great shakes and desserts to bookend your meal. The gelato is highly recommended, especially the siling labuyo with orange swits. It's not too spicy. If you're trying to impress your date or loved one, Millie's comes highly recommended. June 2017Back here after an event for a sandwich and this club sandwich does not disappoint. They also seasoned their fries with paprika which gives it a nice, quiet zing. The service was fast and efficient and pleasant as always.

Millie's is named after the mother of the President of Microtel. Some of the dishes served in this resto is from the old recipes of Millie. We dined at their UP Technohub branch. Their menu is basically hotel comfort food, meaning that the food is from around the globe. No specific region or cuisine that they specialize in.The tasting event made us taste some of their lenten/monthly menus. We had their Pumpkin Soup, nice and light. Their Burrata is awesome, very simple. Nice gooey imported buffalo mozza filled with cheese, drizzled with oil and topped with cherry tomatoes. They also served us their Marlin, Salmon, Hainanese chicken, and ribs for their main courses. The Marlin was cooked perfectly that was served with a mango salsa and mashed potato. The Salmon was cooked with a nice crust and served with lemon butter sauce. The Hainanese, is one of their popular dish, it was flavorful, abit dry. I, personally, wasn't fan of their Ribs. It's basting is very Asian in flavor, soy based. For the desserts, the Panna cotta was a major fail for me. The texture is literally like gelatin. Too dense. Their gelato has creative flavors like orange swits (candy) and chili or the Flat Top and Chocnut. Flat Top and chocnut gelato was my favorite, because of the chocnut. :DMillie's food is quite pricey for the food they serve and is just right for the hotel's menu. It could be a little better in terms of food quality and variety. It lacks identity and character. They could've served a more interesting comfort food to attract non-guest customers.#TheFoodCrawlers #SplatMNL #OngsFoodprints

My second visit to Millie's was in their Technohub branch. This time around, I was just in time for their Holy Week and summer menu. Millie's is named after the mother of Microtel's president, who has an extensive experience in the hotel industry. This restaurant has its 3rd branch in the Philippines, with its other branches near Mall of Asia and Batangas. The Techohub branch is the biggest of them all with an indoor and outdoor seating area.
