Simple and plain sailing mexican fastfood which aims to deliver yummy favorites. Located near the cinemas, its the perfect pre- or post movie eat. You can also opt for food to-go and bring inside the film theater instead of your usual popcorn-soda combo. Take your pick from quesadillas, tacos, chalupas, enchilladas or burritos. They also offer salads and even Latin burgers and dogs. For me it has always been their cheese and garlic quesadilla, pollo asado or carne asada burrito. Tender and flavorful meat though sometimes it comes off dry. They need to be consistent in preparing the food so as to keep the quality of their restaurant. What I like about this place is that they have a lot of staff even if its just a small outlet. Service is fast and efficient. Keep it up!

I've been a regular customer since early 2000s and they were able to maintain food quality and authentic mexican flavor... Their grilled steak burrito is a must try! Grilled chix platterfor the kids. Food and ambiance enhanced by its mexican BGM is sure to take you to Mexico while dinning!

Their taco salads are my usual go-tos during work days. It's filling enough to last me the whole day, but not so overwhelming like meals that are carbo-based. There have been occasions tho that the meat that comes as garnish are a bit chewy and hard to digest.

Tried and yested Mexican food. I usually order their double tacos. I have tried the pork chops. This rime, it's the chili con carne for me.

They have affordable and delicious combo meals! Their burritos are very big and their jalapeño quesadillas aren't too spicy. Plus their dips are superb.

Mexicali is probably a combination of Mexican and California. And did you know that the Burrito was actually invented in the state of California. This dish of one of their signature offerings. It was movie night and Mexicali accompanied me. I got three dishes and it was more than enough while I sit and watch for almost two hours. The chili was superb despite its spice. It was tasty and its beans were really soft. I also got two soft tacos, Chicken and Vegetable, both flavorful and generous. It was just difficult to hold and eat. Mexicali thrives on its Combo Plates. It's a smart way of getting a combination of Mexican favorites in one plate at a more affordable price. It starts at Php 240 only.

Food is good. But I'm not pretty sure if they're using that little microwave on the side quite excessively.Don't get me wrong. The burritos, quesadillas, and even the enchiladas still tastes good. BUT.To the management team, You have a lot of room for improvement and opportunities. Don't waste this Brand.

I dont really know why people gave it low ratings, mexicali is almost'' authentic mexican food, at first i dont really like the idea of the garlic in my  quesadilla.  But all of it including the burrito is nice, the salad, the frinks. it is all perfect. but i dont really like beans personally, buts that my part okay hahadont try mexicali if you stick on the usual flavors, mexicali offers a wide strong variety of mexican taste. but if you like an authentic taste, go for mexicali in order for you to differentiate the saturated taste of mexican food given a touch of pilipino taste wth what mexican food really is.The price for me is nice btw, my boyfriend is the one who paid but for the ambiance and the taste, i guess it is all worth it.

Man, I remember when they still had branches at Megamall and SM Cubao! The TriNoma branch is too small for comfort, so they barely pass ambience-wise. The food's good, tho. While nowhere near as good as the Megamall branch(the best branch they had, IMO), the Jalapeño Burger makes me come back once a month, at the least. If their management reads this, please... #MAKEMEXICALIGREATAGAIN! 😁

The main question here is: Where do I eat when I stroll Trinoma alone? It's definitely Mexicali! No other options. Their Steak Burrito and Quesadilla are the best combo for me. When in Mexicali before, their sauces were unlimited. They had bottles of sauce per table which was HEAVEN. Sadly, today they limit per order their different sauces but thankfully, still the great taste remains! Mexicali white sauce forever!!! I love Mexicali!
