If i want something heavy for my breakfast, i always have Mc Donald's Big Breakfast meal with muffin + coffee of course, and since my coffee is refillable, an order of Hash brown and apple pie. It will be a lovely day for me while reading my newspaper courtesy of Mc Donald's katipunan. Love ko 'to!

I ate at this branch a lot because I took college nearby. Good place to do study groups, meetings and have quick meals. The food definitely fits a student's budget. A good standard McDonald's branch. They have a big area inside that can accommodate a lot of customers. I'm sure they allocated extra space to accommodate students that spend a little more extra time there after eating their meals. After graduating, I also ate here often as my basketball group would eat here after playing basketball. We played basketball nearby at the barangay basketball court called Park 9. This is the branch where I ate a lot of the rice burgers! I loved those and I wish McDonald's would bring them back.

This particular branch of McDonald's is very special to me because it is where I usually studied during my college days some 2 decades back. It goes without saying, this store has been around for a long while. It has witnessed my triumphs as I stayed for evening hours preparing for my examinations, both oral and written, consuming cup after cup of caffeine. Thus, although all branches are consistent with their products and all serve the same food items, the Katipunan branch (for sentimental reasons) will always be one of my favorite McDonald's branches.

Had mickey Ds a while ago, and it made me sick. Im not sure if it was the old tasting fries or the burger. The quarter punder was good pa naman.. Totally what you'd expect from mcdonalds. Hoping next time, i would have a better experience.

McDo-Katip is the ultimate diner. Home to students making their way through the formal educational system in the universities along Katipunan Avenue, this McDonald's branch is ready to serve all 24/7. This is where every resto-bar mainstay binges before a long drunken night. They come to the rescue of every dormer who needs food source for an all-nighter. Their wi-fi and comfortable seats are also helpful for group gatherings. Apart from serving their world-class fries, McDo makes sure that they give you the most fresh off-the-grill/fryer burgers and chicken products. Of course, for dessert, you can help yourself with a hot-and-cold combination of their chocolate hot fudge or caramel sundae. Bring home some apple pies for the family, too! Who needs Starbucks when you have McCafe in the same McDonald's branch? You can also get coffee on-the-go and cakes and pastries as you wish! Indeed, McDo-Katip is a great place to hangout and eat some good fastfood without the disappointing service!

Just for kicks, my brothers and I planned a surprise 70th Birthday Party for my mom at McDonald's. We chose Katipunan branch because it's nearer and accessible to my mom's friends who will come from the South. We booked almost a month before the actual party. I made a down payment of 3k for the Disney Princess Party Theme. I already selected food and requested for an adult gift like umbrella or a shirt since the celebrator is already 70 years old. Kenneth (the Party coordinator that time) told me that he will request it from the head but will not guarantee approval which I think was fair enough. Also, he mentioned that if we wish to use projector, we need to pay additional 500 pesos which I think was crazy.I called the place 4 days before the party and was surprised that none of the things we (Kenneth and I) talked about were indicated in the contract. Gio (The Party coordinator that day) asked me to fill him in which made me irritated. He said that Kenneth only indicated in the contract was the date, time, and the food. Nothing about the theme, and the requested gift.I told him (Gio) all the things I talked about with Kenneth. I was surprised also to find out that they don't have projector and the 500 peso fee is for just the electricity which was really insane. And to make matters worse, they didn't give me the invitations. Good thing that most of the attendees are family members but still, we paid 3,000 pesos for the party theme, hats, giveaways, prizes, and invitations. Finally, Gio was able to clean up the mess Kenneth did. They delivered the invitation (which I didn't see the point anymore), has provided projector and screen for free, and requested umbrella as the gift. The party turned out (somehow) successful. The host was a hit. The food was good. My mom and her friends had a blast but I don't think I'll be doing this party again here whatever the occasion will be. I thought it would be stress-free but I was wrong.

The epitome of fast food, where calories don't matter. McDonald's is loved and hated by everyone, that's a fact no one can deny. We know how many calories in each meal is, and we don't care. I'm not here to talk about healthy or unhealthy foods but I'm here to talk about McDonald's breakfast or at least what they did to ruin my breakfast routine. It all started with me and my dad when I was a kid. After his treatment we would go to McDonald's to get breakfast since we had to leave really early. He would read the newspaper while I ate and he would take a long time that I was left to my own devices. That's when I started experimenting or as the adults would call it; playing with my food. That's what started this habit of mine. The bf would usually surprise me with Mcdo breakfast the way I like it. I used to force my classmates to come with me to get our breakfast there whenever we had morning classes. And there was this time when I had this friend who ate in a weird way too that he liked how I did things with my Mcdo meal that we did it every Th and F for one semester. Yes, I know, imagine all the calories we accumulated. Those were the days!I love McDonald's, I do. It's cheap, you can get it anywhere at any time. They do deliver at whatever time no matter what day is it and no matter what the weather condition is, well not in severe cases. They're always there to take your call whenever you're hungry. What I love about it most is their Breakfast meals. I am not a morning person but I would get up for Mcdo breakfast, specifically their sausage mc muffin with hash brown and rice meals. What I do order with it though is their maple syrup. At first it was free, and while I did agree with their decision of just selling an extra syrup for 10php to avoid waste and I guess to carry the cost of whatever they wanted, I do not agree with their recent protocol of not selling maple syrup to those who did not order pancake meals. I am a paying customer, I would even pay 20php for it if they'd let me. Now I just feel like my breakfasts there would be sad and in complete. There's of course still a lot of things I love about it but that one little part that restricts me from buying what I want is a deal breaker for me. Would I still have a McDonald's meal? yes, probably unavoidable.Would it be on my top 3 favorite breakfast places? no way.I hope they fix this hiccup.Happy Eating! :)-E

I love McDonald's but I can't deny that Jollibee still has a special place in my heart (even if their delivery service sucks ). HAHA The asset of McDo would always be their service. I just love the employees here and unlike Jollibee, they serve food FAST. They put the fast in fastfood. I love their double cheeseburger deluxe and 50 Php meals! Or sometimes, when I'm really hungry I order chicken fillet with rice meal, burger mcdo sandwich and sunday. That's super cheap and I'm super filled. It's what other student do as well so might as well join the bandwagon. ;) This particular McDo branch in Katipunan is an instititution. Thesis, group projects, meet-ups, dates and team lunches are done here. Everyone's welcome.

It was tiring to drive my nephew to school after going thru the heavy traffic here. On my way back, I drove by to this place to get a quick breakfast. Just like before, this place still is busy any given hour. Good thing I was able to find a good seat and eat through my quarter pounder. This is one of my favorite branches. They have enough tables for dining customers. They also have a separate party place. It just brings back memories every time a go back here.

What's good about the morning is that you can enjoy an early morning jog on a cloudy and cold weather. Then go straight to Mcdo for a cup of coffee and Pancake to re-energize. This would be my fave motivation for a jogging.
