Nice place, worth venturing off the beaten path. Must order: Maximo Salad, Grilled Lemongrass Chicken. Our thoughts on the lamb salpicao (the most highly rated dish on their menu it seems, based on other reviews) - it must have been an off day because our salpicao was tough, dry and swimming grease (the bad kind). It was probably pre-cooked and overcooked. Taste-wise, okay lang.We also had the mushroom chicharon, it was okay. You need the aioli for sure otherwise it won't taste like much. Despite this, we enjoyed our meal here. We want to come back and try their other comfort food (and dessert)!Things to note:Service lacks smiles. Seems a little forced.Price point is affordable.Place is a bit out of the way but there is parking.Great for big groups.

I used to think nothing can top Racks' seafood chowder... But i am definitely mistaken! Maximo's seafood chowder is for the books! Their maximo salad has the right blend of sweet, sour and salty, right call on the queso de bola in ur salad. The lamb salpicao was great too. And the salt and pepper shrimp was something I kept munching on till the very end. I love how the ambiance is relaxed and not crowded, plus you can leave your car in the car wash beside it and have it cleaned while you eat!

Iberian chicken at its best!Mushroom chicharon is a must too. Dessert menu was interesting but my sugar was up those times I've been there

Loved the vegetarian chicharon (mushrooms) it was just the right amount of crispy and sinful that my palate needed. For the dessert, the chocnut cake was a twist on an old favorite.

Trust the servers recommendation.Lamb Salpicao- the meat was so tender.Maximo Salad- perfect combination of sweet and tangy dressing. Cold greens and warm sundried tomatoes.Chorizo and Mussels Aglio Oil- just a handful mussels but plenty of chorizo.

Ive been seeing this restaurant in Blue Ridge and its modern signage somehow got me intrigued. Tried 'em for brunch and had their lamb salpicao, chorizong hubad and chorizo and farmer's cheese sandwich. The salpicao was swimming in grease. Good thing the meat was tender. I dont know what pushed us to order two chorizos that day (maybe because we went for their bestsellers) but it was a bad choice since both were too salty for my liking. Only thing that balanced it was the pickled mango that came as a side dish. Service was poor. Imagine we were the only ones there and yet it took time for us to call their attention. When people started coming in, Ive noticed that they are still very lax, thus, an old lady sitting beside our table called them up and pretty much lectured them to be more attentive. Place is spacious but off the beaten path and parking is limited. I guess I wont be coming back again anytime soon.

Delicious truffle pasta, just a bit dry. Crispy mushrooms were an innovative move and they serve one of the best bibingkas in the metro. The Maximo salad is great too, one of my favorite salads.

Ordered:- Truffle cream with crispy mushrooms- Aglio olio with chorizo and mussels- Beef tapa- Mushroom Chicharon- Flat tops buchi- Lemongrass iced teaFood - the pastas and mushroom chicharon were delicious. My dad especially liked the aglio olio and I was surprised at how much I liked the chicharon. The aioli dip was yummy. Tapa was flavorful but the meat was tough. :( iced tea i didn't like.. Too gingery for my taste. The buchi was AMAZING. Seriously. If you go here, you can't not have it.The ambiance was good but the service could use some work. We were the only customers at the time but they were not that attentive. But they were friendly and accommodating once you get their attention hehe.
