FOOD: Beef and Cabbage Soup/Soup of the day tasted good except it was a little bit salty Platter Meal and Spring Chicken Meal are very reasonable orders; CHICKEN is really delicious, Pancit Canton is Good, Caramel Bar is Sweet. Did not like their rice this time.Macaroni Salad: it lacks taste. SorryPRICE: Affordable, Budget-friendly, Good for groups SERVICE: Excellent, Kudos to their attentive and courteous staff named "Mark" PLACE: Ambiance is very good. Really love the home vibe.

I've been to Max's twice in a row this week! This time with friends also (other group of friends hehe) But still no sawa-na or umay feeling. Ordered sizzling tofu and the summer feast promo which consist of 1 whole chicken, chopseuy, garlic rice, 4 buko pandan & 4 drinks (sago't gulaman) totally satisfied!👍🏻

Max's was the unanimous choice of 10 young boys on Sunday for our lunch treat. Rightly so for most of them have frequented the resto with their parents every weekend, so they are already familiar with the taste of the food and what they wanted to order. It's a good thing they have fashioned meals that included ol' time faves so it made things easier for me. We had the Fiesta meals for each kids, the Crispy Pata Bowl, the halo halo special, Sizzling tofu (which is a must order for its creaminess), mango shake, iced tea, Kangkong Tofu, Shanghai fried rice, and Spicy sizzling fried chicken which was really spicy! It boggles my mind that one of the kids was eating it with gusto and put some more Tabasco! I couldn't even handle the spiciness lol! It had been a long time for me since university days where Max's was the "in" place in the ol' days 😆. It was the place to celebrate birthdays, and anniversaries. It was the place to bring visiting friends and relatives from overseas to give them a taste of the local familiar cuisine. But it was always the chicken that drew us, their brand of chicken :) The taste is still the same, it hasn't changed at all. I'm happy to see that they have some new dishes which I like. We didn't have any difficulty securing a table for our group(Sunday lunch is usually the busiest for this place and the worst nightmare of a would be diner) , thanks to the efficient staff, and to the friendly and helpful MJ, who sorted out our orders while we were waiting for them to set our table to accommodate our group, which cut back the waiting time for hungry rambunctious kids. Even our add on orders were served promptly, thanks to the senior staff who was overseeing our table :) I was glad that the rest of the diners didn't mind us and were just giving us indulgent looks :) Thank you for our hassle free dining experience :)
