There are more than a hundred Max’s branches around us and whenever I pass through any of these, they are relatively full. They have indeed become part of Filipino’s dining experience and celebrations. On my recent solo visit, I purposely didn’t have any of their staple chicken. Instead, I explored the menu for other alternatives. When was the last time you ate at Max’s and veered away from their main product? I had one of the new rice bowls, in particular, their best selling Kare Kare. This was a good deal, as it had ample meat parts expected to have on a larger order. It could have been better though with more nutty sauce. I also had creamy Beef Soup, Pandan Fresh Lumpia and loads of Atchara for an additional side dish. All of these plus my main for just Php 380!

The food is good. The staff is quite asar pag unli chicken huhu. Back to food I always love their kilig to the bone chicken super soft. I also love the tinapa rice. Im now missing their pinaputok na bangus. Love it.

Food/Taste: ❤❤❤Place: ❤❤❤❤❤Price: ❤❤❤❤Fried chicken is one of my fave dish, kaya I decided to eat sa Max's at inorder ko yung spring chicken half just to satisfy my cravings. And sadly, chicken is too dry 😭 hindi na namin maubos kasi mahirap sya kainin. Nag enjoy lang ako sa sago't gulaman nila yun nga lang sobrang liit ng baso. For the location, okay,kasi inside mall so after mo magstroll/shopping kita mo agad yung branch nila. For the price, I think need nila iadjust yun kasi masyado ng mahal pricing yet hindi naman satisfied customer.

No doubt that food here is really good but as my 2nd time here we always feel disappointed to the point we almost cancel our order because of loooonnggg waiting for the food to be serve! Its a bad impression to keep your customers wait for 30 mins, plus whenever we make a follow up their staff is like aligaga and not actively listening. Please talk to your team about this matter. Thank you!

Always prepare for a queue as this is always jam-packed. Who would not want a chicken from Max's. Don't forget the caramel bar served with their combo platters. I also recommend their pinakbet.

Staff are courteous enough. However, service is terrible. We were served the sizzling tofu on a warm plate, same with the chicken sisig. Food was served after 45 mins and the bill took another 15.Talk about being the epitome of poor customer service.

Celebrated a family member's birthday here. Place was fine but it was kinda hot in our table. Staff was kinda slow but what do you expect in a restaurant that's packed? Food was good but could be better. Didn't get fully full though.Didn't like their iced tea. The chicken was not served with any sauce at all so it's lacking in taste. Wait,was it our fault that we didn't approach a staff about it? Pancit canton was fine. Their shrimp was also okay. Liempo was good too. I couldn't say something about the tofu and chopseuy because I didn't eat it. Ordered some of their desserts. Satisfied. But still wishing the eating experience was better.

It's the first time in three years I tried their platter meal because we usually buy a whole chicken, but since my mom is my only companion, we gave it a try. As expected, their friend chicken is superb! It's crispy on the outside, but juicy on the inside. You wouldn't never really go wrong with their chicken. The pancit canton is very flavorful and has many ingredients. The spring rolls are awesome too! On the other hand, I feel that the place is not big enough to accomodate a LOT of people especially during peak hours. (12:00-14:00). The buco pandan is also very flavorful and the sweetness is just right for my taste buds since I have toned down from eating sweets, I apologize for not having a picture of it because I was too excited to taste it again after a long time haha. But on the other hand, the sauce for the spring rolls was disappointing, it's like 70% water and the rest is the actual sauce. The food presentation lacks something, it looks sad when it was given to us. The service is just okay, everyone was too hyped to the point they don't even know how to take their attention to customers who needs something. I would still come back to eat! Chicken is life!

Max's give a sense of nostalgia in a plate. Before, they didn't offer platter meals for one. What they had(and still have) are Filipino dishes to be shared on the dining table, creating good conversation. A must-buy is their fried chicken. I like mine paired with their worcestershire seasoning to pump up the flavor. But over the years, the chicken has slightly died down on flavor. But still good. Service was good. We were accommodated efficiently. Price range about 400-600 for two, depending on what you'll get.
