I recall when I stopped eating at Max's years ago. I live in the South and the nearest branch was along Sucat. I thought that their cooking has deteriorated and that their chicken was always very oily. Usually got a headache and was dizzy after dining there. But lately, I was impressed again, this time in their Banawe/Tirad Pass branch. None of the very oily stuff with their spring chicken. Their dessert was acceptable as with their macaroni. I guess when you have too many branches, there is always a real danger of falling out of standards. I enjoyed our meal in this branch but still not comfy going back to their Sucat branch.

Haven't had Max's in a real long time, and I was surprised to see that the servings are smaller, although the taste was still the same. Remind myself to order a whole chicken next time. Staff were nice though, and the outlet looked wellmaintained.

I love Max's chicken but the fact that their chicken size on Solo Meal is getting smaller and smaller is frustrating. The whole leg and thigh part is smaller than fast food 1pc chicken.But nevertheless Max's always gives us the Pinoy class taste to our Filipino Dishes!

Same great tasting chicken. Too bad they dont givr bigger portions...parang laging bitin makakain mo! The parking is also a problem in this place but other than that the place, food and service are excellent.

Passed by to get some paperwork from someone here. Not the biggest branch but they focused on their pastries by displaying them up front. Max Cafe? The restaurant is a corner lot so there is parking at two fronts of the store
