We usually do take out at maki haus. We haven't tried to dine in. Well the maki is tasted good. Almost the.same as the famous one at ongpin. We also love their machang and kiampong that we usually ordered for take out. But this time.we tried their siopao and i can say it tasted disaster the bread is watery and the meat inside is lots of flours no meat tasted. The service is slow it took 15mins for the maki and.siopao. thats so slow despite its closing time and no more customer coming. But il still do take out of maki here but hope the can make some changes.

Food taste is good especially the maki but the service is very slow even we're only few customers at that time. Service crew in the food counter are busy talking to each other.

If you’re looking for a quick Chinese fix, try Maki Haus. Aside from their best selling yummy maki soup, i also like their made-to-order generously filled fresh lumpia (which you can request to lessen (or add) the sweet ground peanuts to your liking). I usually have these as take away for a healthy dinner.

Food was surprisingly good and so was the service. Can't say much about the parking and ambience, though! Everything was relatively good, except for the hainanese chicken. It was just weird. The vegetables were overly cooked, but taste was still okay. Lumpia and gohoing were good, while the sweet and sour pork was just...okay, not to my liking, but some liked it.

My sister was craving for dumplings from Hugki Dumplings, so we decided to drop by for a quick lunch yesterday. Unfortunately, they were closed -- probably still on holiday break. 😅 We walked a bit further and to our relief, Maki Haus was open, so we went in. Maki Haus is the home of the Original Maki Soup, well, probably next to the Maki Places in Ongpin. 😊 Maki Soup is a thick Chinese soup that consists of tender pork cuts, garnished with some spring onion. It may be eaten on its own, or with noodles. Some prefer to drizzle some black vinegar in it, but I like it better on its own. Here's what we got for yesterday's lunch:✅ MAKI (Php 155 - Large) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This was a childhood favorite, so one sip of the soup already screamed nostaglia. 😁 I loved how their pork didn't have much extenders or flour breading on them, unlike some other maki places. The serving size is quite big, and can serve upto 4 people. It had more than 10 pcs of pork (yes, I counted 😂). The soup was super yummy, and is like a warm hug on a cold day! 🤗✅ OYSTER CAKE (Php 245) - ⭐⭐⭐I had high expectations for their oyster cake, because I remember liking it when we ate here a couple of years ago. Yesterday, I found it to be just okay. 😞 It was a bit too oily for my liking, and didn't have as much oysters as I would like. The quantity of the vegetables were a bit less than my expectations, too. Fat Fook's Oyster Omelette is still the best one I have tasted, to date. 🤗✅ SPINACH GARLIC (Php 185) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Okay I love this sooo much. I have recently taken a liking to eating vegetables -- not that I don't like them before... It's just that I like them even more now. 💕 It's actually quite expensive to order vegetable dishes in restaurants, and for some reason, their veggies are cooked better than how we do it at home. Their spinach are crisp, but didn't have those thick and tough parts that are hard to chew. The garlic brought a fragrant and wonderdul flavor to this healthy dish, and I can probably eat this all day. So yummy, refereshing, and healthy. 🌱✅ KIAMPONG RICE (Php 45) - ⭐⭐⭐Nothing beats my mom's kiampong, so I'm not a super big fan of this. 😂 Also, I do not like to have peanuts in my kiampong, but that's a personal preference. Their kiampong was flavorful, but was too plain for my liking. But I guess it's okay for a 45 per cup kiampong. 😊Service was okay, but since its a casual maki joint, servers aren't exceptionally courteous, but they're not bad. 😊 Food is served warm and didn't take a long time to be served to us. The ambiance was that of an upscale eatery. The tables are too close with each other, so as a courtesy to the fellow diners, make sure to keep your voices low when you speak to your companions. Overall, their Maki is something I would recommend to others, especially those who haven't tried this delicious dish yet. 💕#EatDrinkSplurge

My favorite maki haus since I was a kid, original was the one at ongpin st - Manosa . Hipon rebosado, ma Chang ,maki, Chami all time favorites and Kikiam . Sincerity's Kikiam and quick snacks version of Kikiam are much better. As for the maKi (pork and gawgaw soup),no one beats maki haus.

The thing to get here is obviously the maki and maki-mi. It isn't the best maki ever, but it's the best you can get in banawe right now. Aside from that their other items are a mixed bag. Their siomai is not very good, as it is too dry and lacks flavor. Their fried chicken is quite nice, juicy and well seasoned. But if you're coming here, you're coming for the maki and you won't really be disappointed.

Maki is a thickened soy/clear based soup with starch covered meat (pork, chicken, fish). I am familiar with this dish because i eat this often when i was living in Binondo during my childhood years. This places serves one of the best maki in metro manila. Very authentic. The soup was lightly seasoned (not too salty) yet flavorful, with generous meat (6-7 pieces of meat). The fish maki was also good, its not 'malangsa'. you can also add a teaspoon of black vinegar to hide the fishy taste. You can also add 10pesos if you want noodlez in your soup (maki-mi or maki noodles)I was very full after finishing a bowl, with 125pesos tab/bowl, this is definitely value for money 👌👌

Good place to go if you're craving for traditional chinese comfort food.. They serve generous bowl of maki or makimi. Their special machang is big and full of meat inside. Menu prices are relatively cheap, especially for sharing..

Solid fookien chinese vegetable lumpia and maki soup! These are some of the food from xiamen where many of the filipino-chinese in the philippines came from. Dimsum is actually cantonese. Takeout maki and chinese lumpia is a staple in many fil chi households and maki haus is one of the best.
