This is not the first time that I'll be eating at Magnolia House, but the first for this branch. At first I thought they will only offer desserts but suprisingly they offer entrees as well. Located at SM Sky Garden, the resto will definitely get your attention because of its location and crisp white paint. Upon entering, I noticed that they don't have aircondition but they have an industrial fan. The thing that I noticed again is how the sun comes in because of their high ceiling windows which were located right beside the couches where Mom and I wanted to seat. Since there's no other available seats, we just agreed to be seated under mr. sun's rays. To start, we ordered Nachos Overload (P285) which was so-so, nachos with alot of cheese but was very very very dry. too expensive for a very simple dish, not outstanding either. For my main dish, I ordered Gambas (P245) served with rice and shredded corn on the side. The dish was oozing with too much garlic and too much oily. 1st bite was okay but the next ones feels like I'm literally dragging and pushing myself to eat it. Mom ordered Buffalo Wings (P260) and I must say, the dish looks like chicken wings rolled into whatever sauce and add potato wedge on the sides, the food presentation was very bad and even the taste! I can feel th oil in my mouth. We also ordered desserts just to enjoy ourselves and the bad dining experience, so we ordered ice creams. Mine was served with Strawberry Ice Cream, Vanilla Ice Cream, whipped cream, fruit loops and cherry while Mom got Strawberry, Mango and Vanilla Ice creams plus peached amd grahams. Well good thing we loooooved their desserts. We finished both ice cream in about 10mins!Over all dining experience was bad, even the entrees but they have a thumbs up for the desserts. Shell out cash is around 700-900 for an entrees plus dessert dining. Menu price was too pricy that the food itself was not worth it. * Price: 2/5* Food 2/5* Service 3/5

Disappointing!  My husband used to love their spaghetti.  He has good memories eating spaghetti at Magnolia Flavor House in Cubao when he was little.  He felt sad because it was not the spaghetti he used to eat before. The children had baked mac, chicken and a couple of rice meals.  For its price, I would say it's not worth it!

One thing that I like most in this Magnolia House branch was the service. The crew welcomed us with smiling faces and the food attendant accompanied us to our seats. He was kind enough to tell the best sellers because my friend and I were having a hard time choosing what to order. The food attendant also suggested that we could change the flavors of the scoops of ice cream.We ordered Mango Royale (250 Php) and the ice cream flavors that we picked were vanilla, mango and strawberry. Compared to the other ice cream brands -Nestle and Selecta, I still dig Magnolia. Magnolia ice cream is flavorful, thick, creamy and not easy to melt. I hope that Magnolia House will enhance their menu -something like Cara Mia's, Iceberg's, Cold Stone or Magnum's menu so that customers will have more choices.
