Beer served below zero, crispy tawilis, and other Filipino comfort food, how can you go wrong? Definitely one of my go to places in QC to relax and chill.

First time to try this resto a few days ago. If you're looking for a home-cooked meal after work, then you should come here. They offer set meals aside from their ala cartes. We ordered pork binagoongan, bicol express and pinakbet. The servings are generous (hindi tinipid). Aside from the rice and ulam, they also put mixed veggies on their set meals. They have limited tables inside, but you can also occupy the tables outside (where the acoustic band performs). The price is pretty much affordable, perfect if you want to hangout on a budget.

I don’t know why there are bad reviews about Luna J. When you ask the waiters/waitress they would attend to you immediately and the foods taste so great at very reasonable prices. The interior of the restaurant is okay, well dimmed, just like those pricey restaurants in Makati; and there are varieties of alcohols from fruit juices, sago /gulaman, to beers, wines, hard drinks and cocktails!PS Luna J’s Tokwa’t Baboy as appetizer is the best!

Been here last November 2017, food is super thumbs up! Worth the price! We ordered Lumpiang Shanghai, Sizzling Chicken Salpicao and itlog na maalat na amazingly walang buto ang tomatoes! Very good sila since bawal kainin ang buto! 🤗 Ambiance is mejo maliit parang 3 portions ang place meroon sa loob, sa labas na overlooking sa road at sa labas na sa upon entrance ng mall. Then, lastly mejo oily lang yung garlic rice actually super oily, we will order plain rice na lang siguro when we come back 😁

My heart says 5.0 but I gave it a 4.5 rating mainly bec their staff is not so friendly... one of the small things that I'm anticipating when I visit a restaurant is the friendly and courteous staff , I love to chat with them when I order , I usually ask what have you tasted in your menu that you personally like , what's your best seller etc .. The food here is no doubt one of the best tasting Filipino food I've had (and its super affordable !) but the whole experience of dining doesn't just end with the food .. So , very simple gesture would add a whole lot of difference :) (by the way been here 3x ) ❤️

Been seeing this resto for awhile now at Il Terrazzo but did not try because it looked like a bit too fancy, for just to try out something new, we headed to check it out. Luna J is a Filipino restaurant that offers classic Filipino dishes. My wife was longing for Filipino food since she hasn't had one for a long time. We ordered Sinigang na Baka. My wife loved its sourness, but my father-in-law complained the pork was not fatty, haha! We also tried Sisig, Grilled Tilapia, and Salted Egg with Tomatoes. It was a disappointment when the salted egg turned out to be chicken egg instead of duck. My favorite would be the Sago't Gulaman because I have been looking for one that tastes like it for a long time. It tasted like scramble - crushed ice and flavors of panucha (palm sugar) plus the great texture of the gulaman and sago.A restaurant that serves clean food (less oil) and something that would leave you hungry for more. Classic Filipino dishes that would make balikbayans reminisce of home. There is something for everyone.

Classy looking place with quality treats. The crispy crablets were definitely a surprise. Plus they have outside seats and they serve liquor. Perfect for unwinding employees from nearby offices. Food 5.0 Cost 5.0 Service 5.0

Just within the streets of Tomas Morato lies a small resto intriguingly named Luna J. My friends and I decided to try this place despite some feedback that it's above the price range of a regular worker with a small, irregular serving of average tasting food. The feedback, unfortunately, were right. The pitcher of iced tea is supposed to serve 6 persons, but ended up only serving 5 medium glasses. Perhaps the glasses should be filled with so much ice that it can serve 6. The iced tea tasted like a regular raspberry iced tea. Food served is supposed to be good for 2-3 persons. But given the serving portions , it will only serve 2 at the most. The kare kare and bulalo is ok. Nothing spectacular. We were amazed by the ensaladang talong and gising gising because it didn't look presentable as the other main dish. The bangus and tilapia is really overpriced.while their best seller the beef with coconut is unique to the taste but was above average. The beef steak was a disappointment. It tasted like gravy with a texture of heavy oyster sauce. The tawilis didn't look like it. We also tried ordering ensaladang mangga, but it wasn't available. How on earth can some place like this run out of a simple stuff on their menu? The service crew was not as attentive. Yet there is a service charge. The place is really small and is not advisable for a group of more than 15 people unless you want to reserve the whole place or be seated separately per group of 5. There is no comfort room. You'd have to go to the mall CR. The experience is forgettable. Perhaps it's a good place to wine and dine if you're a couple willing to dish out extra money for below-average to average food.
