I've eaten at different branches of Luk Foo but this one kind of rubbed me the wrong way. We ordered Hakaw, Beef & Wonton Noodle Soup, Salt & Pepper Spareribs, Xiao Long Bao and the Steamed Garlic Fish Fillet w/Eggplant. Everything was going fine until we received the last 2 items of our order. We've eaten at the Shaw Blvd branch of Luk Foo and when we received our fish order it was firm and large portions of tilapia fillets. Different story here as the fish we were served were scrawny and mushy pieces of the infamous "Cream Dory". Disappointing, but not a huge cause for alarm. However, when the XLB arrived, we were surprised to see the soup from the dumplings leaked all over the serving plate in the steamer basket. We both examined the XLB and saw that they were either poorly wrapped or not properly handled during cooking hence the leakage. When we voiced our concern and asked if it could be replaced, our waiter took our plate of XLB away. He promptly came back and told us something along the lines that "this is how it's prepared and/or the steamer had something to do with it".Two things wrong there. #1 Bringing food back to the kitchen and bringing the EXACT SAME dish unaltered is a big no no. It's a way for get food contaminated in the confines of the kitchen. #2 I'm no Chinese food expert but the whole experience of eating a XLB dumpling is to bite into it and have the flavorful broth burst into your mouth and not be sitting there on the plate with your dumplings wading in it. The fact that we were told that this is how it's SUPPOSED to be prepared just made the girlfriend and I feel insulted as we sadly ate our dry and broth-less XLB dumplings. Also, during this whole visit it was really hard to call the attention of the waiters as they seemed really busy with some "important" conversation on the other side of the restaurant. We literally spent about 5-10 minutes of our dinner trying to flag them down or get their attention.End of story: it's our last visit to this Luk Foo.

Food tastes great; malalaki rin ang serving. I just got a bit annoyed that the staff kept taking empty plates and things while we were still eating. Nevertheless, service was swift, food delivered fast, place is neat, worth the price.

The place was very clean. Staff was polite and accomodating. But they should pay a little more attention when the customers are ordering. They forgot the Cold Cuts that we ordered.Food was tasty. Serving size is ok if you are not a heavy eater. The Hot and Sour soup was too sour, I suggest balancing the flavor because I can really taste the overwhelming taste of the vinegar.

Certainly one of the best places to eat in this area. Staff are great and chef is really good. Been going here so many times. Must get the salted egg shrimp and Peking duck

My mom really loves to eat here. Once a month we make sure that after our grocery time, we will be heading straight to Luk Foo. She told me that there's somthing on Luk Foo that she got hooked of. She really loves their Braised Assorted Meat Noodle, Beef Tenderloin Chines Style, Luk Foo Fried Chicken and many more. They also have party meals for the family. Shabu shabu can also be found here. It seems like she really loves every thing this food wonder can offer. She told me that the very best reason she had aside from the incredibly prepared and cooked foods they offer, she bow them for catering healthy and nutritious food on a good price. She asserts that nowadays it is really hard to find a resto that offers well cooked delicious meals with veggie, seafood, and other good for the tummy ingredients.

Food tastes great, especially hakao. The set menus are perfect for family group meals. The service is also ok as the staff are quite attentive. The whole place may be reserved for events (2 floors), although there is not much space for a program stage. There is ample parking space shared with Puregold.

Take out for Papa's birthday. Had crispy noodles w seafood, spareribs in strawberry, roast chicken and sweet and sour fish fillet. The crispy noodles was surprisingly good! It was my favorite. The thick sauce with assorted seafood went well with the noodles. The fish fillet were generous in size, fried until golden brown. It's flavorful even without the sweet and sour sauce. Roast chicken was a bit hard and dry. Spareribs in strawberry did not surpassed our expectation. We decided to try the dish because it reminded us of City buffet's same dish. Luk foo's version was bigger in size and saucier but it lack some straeberry flavor. Overall we got fully satisfied for an affordable price.
